Barnebar Chickens

Barnvelder x Barred Plymouth Rock, pure breed autosexing The Barnebar is the auto-sexing version of the Barnevelder, which comes from Holland I have some Barnebars, they are 16 weeks old at the moment and all I can say is that they are the most friendliest bird I have ever owned. From a day old chick uptill now they have been really upfront and wanting to be picked up and played with (not just for food either). The females are playfull and when you let them out they run around and play with each other fairly funny to watch also the male Barnebar is getting there with being picked up, he still crows and wants to be put down but he also is a very friendly bird. The patterning on the females can be different on each individual bird but the colouring stays the same, the males colouring is just exquisite like the barred plymouth rock but with tints of brown
