Whilst there will be treats, games and crafts for the children; our time together will give a good introduction to keeping chickens in an urban garden. We will look at the needs of the chickens, and their daily, weekly and monthly care. You will have the opportunity to handle a hen, ask questions and each family goes home with course notes, a certificate and a goodie bag!
- Please wrap up warm and wear suitable clothes and footwear for the garden.
- In adverse weather we will move the course into the conservatory.

Believing in community - doing it together...
Loving the country life - in London...
Living life to the full - as promised!
Hen Corner is a little bit of country life in London, we've got 11 happy hens, a small kitchen garden, 11 fruit & nut trees, and 40,000 bees - busy making honey. With a shed storing chutneys, preserves and our cider press, we have big ambitions!...
It's definately a journey.... our first two Omlet hens (Pepsi & Shirley) arrived in 2007 and were doing so well in our previous garden that we planned for expansion. The next pair were chicks that our children watched hatch as a schools project. Many others have since been introduced such as the chicks that hatched last Summer...
We currently have an Eglu Cube, an Eglu Go and a Beehaus.
Come and see for yourself!
