Time to send in the results!
It's time to send in your results so that we can collate all the numbers, feed them into our specially commissioned supercomputer. Codenamed E99 SH3LL, it has lots of flashing lights and will do the work of a thousand men in just 5 minutes searching through all possible combinations, permutations and connotations before printing out the answer on a little piece of paper. As soon as the answer has been verified by Omlet\'s very own rarified board of scientists we will present it for peer review and then who knows - would it be too much to expect a Noble Prize for this pioneering piece of work?
Send your results to penny@omlet.co.uk or fax them to 01295 758 118 or send them to the address at the bottom of the website and thank you for taking part. If we do win a Noble prize we promise to take everyone who took part to Switzerland for the award ceremony!
The EggsperimentOmlet have decided to don the white lab coats and become scientists for a week, (we've given up on trying to look like Brad Pitt and we\'re going for the Albert Einstein look instead!). National Science Week runs from the 10th to the 19th March 2006 and thousands of events are occurring all over the country to celebrate the contribution science makes to our lives.
This year there is a special emphasis on colour. With this in mind there was really only one experiment that the Nation wanted us to do. Could we find out once and for all whether the colour of your eglu makes a difference to the amount of eggs your hens lay and even the size of them? Who knows, we may find that hens in orange eglus produce more eggs on a Friday but then take the weekend off!
To answer this question of national importance we need your help! If you are interested in taking part please download the form at the bottom of this page and fill it out over National Science Week, then email the completed form to Omlet\'s Chief Boffin, Professor Penelope at penny@omlet.co.uk. When you send in your results you will automatically be entered into a prize draw and could win a crop swelling feast of meal worms to thank your girls for their efforts.
