Given a little care and attention, your wormery is a never ending perpetual waste recycling machine.
Worms don't take much looking after, the main things that concern them and should therefore concern you are:
- Their bedding should not be too damp nor too try, but just moist enough.
- The temperature is ideally around 15 degrees and not more than 10 degrees either side of that.
- They have enough food and that the feed they get is a balanced mixture of kitchen waste as well as carbon in the form of cardboard and paper.
Follow these guidelines for happy worms.
