A 'must do' course if you're thinking about keeping chickens -

A fantastic introduction to keeping chickens. Hands-on; informative; educational and fun! Claire, Steve and very able daughter Ella as 'assistant', were great hosts; welcoming and very approachable. I highly recommend you book onto this - well worth £20 (I would've paid more!) Thank you to the Peaches

Very good -

It was lovely to meet Claire and Steve who are such a chicken loving couple! They have further excited me whilst I look forward to getting my chickens something I am postponing til after our holiday in April. I have the Eglu poised ready and feel a lot more confident about dealing with the lovelies once they arrive. It was useful to gain further info from them on resources to use to help in the hobby as well as talking through what else I need to buy in readiness. Two hours well spent. Thank you Claire and Steve for the opportunity.

Eggscellent! -

Thoroughly recommend Claire's course. Loads of info, and very friendly intro into keeping chucks. If you are thinking of keeping chickens go on Claire's course, you won't be disappointed. And the cakes pretty good as well!

eggcellent -

Very professional , friendly and welcoming. Very informative relevant information. Would recommend to others.

Useful and fun! -

After this course we felt completely ready to collect our chickens. Cleverly got my son over his slight nervousness too - hug a chicken!

A Very. Good Grounding -

Steve and Clair were excellent hosts. They have extensive knowledge about their hens and were very thorough in relaying their knowledge and experience without putting you off. We were made to feel comfortable and got to handle a hen and were able to ask whatever questions we needed. It was interesting to see how very different there hen houses can be and the different kind of feeders and drinkers. Also we had a gorgeous piece of home made cake in their kitchen while looking at their chickens under warmth of the hot lamp. An excellent afternoon and it was not raining.Yeah Thank you.

The easy way to learn what you need to keep chickens! - Nottinghamshire,

Josh and I attended Claire & Steve's hen course on Sunday morning and we absolutely loved it! Being new to chickens we wanted a good overview of what we should/shouldn't be doing and some owner inside information! This we got in abundance. This course is a must for any chicken keeper, especially a couple of newbie city boys like Josh and I. A wonderful place, amazing people, friendly chickens and good coffee! So glad we went and it was worth every penny!

Excellent course -

Attended the course on Saturday 16th. Claire was very informative and gave me lots of things to think about before embarking on purcahsing my own chickens. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about chicken keeping as it goes through all the important aspects of this in detail. Many thanks Claire. You have made me feel more confident about keeping chickens.

Eggsellent -

Very good course ... as far as we are aware all topics covered and very well explained ... a very enjoyable and informative day.

Great for beginners -

My girlfriend and I attend the Hen Party for beginners, despite having owned chickens for approx 6 months. Claire and Steve were great hosts and spent a lot of time running through the advantages of the Cube and the Classic. It was also really nice to see a whole range of chickens and talk about who well they interact. The course was a really good way to reassure us that we were doing the right things and also answer a few questions I'd not found on the forum. I'm keen to follow up with the intermediate course next!
