Two Heights of Outdoor Cat Playpen Available

The new Outdoor Cat Run is available in two heights. The Hi-Rise version allows you to literally walk in to spend more time with your cats. Your pet will be able to run and jump about and there is plenty of space for a bed, scratching post, litter tray, food and water bowl, and any other accessories you want to add. You could even set up a deck chair to sit back and relax with your pets, making it easy to let your indoor cat outside. The Lo-Rise Version is a new concept, giving your cats plenty of secure floor space, at a lower height and a lower price (of course if you are less than 1.16m tall you can still walk in).

The Lo-Rise Walk in Chicken Run with height arrow The Lo-Rise Outdoor Cat Run is a great entry level product. It has all the floor space of the Hi-Rise version and you can extend the height at a later date.

The Hi-Rise Walk in Chicken Run with height arrow The Hi-Rise Walk In Cat Enclosure allows you to walk right in and spend time with your cats. They'll love all that extra room and you'll enjoy the benefits too.

Should you Let Your Indoor Cat Outside?

The Walk in Cat Enclosure offers the perfect combination of style and security. A lot of people choose not to let their cats outside, for fear of them getting lost, injured or even stolen, but with this outdoor pet enclosure, they'll be able to enjoy the great outdoors without you having to worry. Your cats can enjoy the fresh air while giving you peace of mind. Please note that due to the spacing in the upper mesh (approx. 7cm x 4.5cm) it is advisable that you wait until your cat is 12 months old before leaving it unsupervised in the Outdoor Cat Run.

If you opt for the Hi-Rise Walk In Cat Enclosure, you’ll have the benefit of a stable style door. The top and bottom of the door open independently allowing you to throw in some toys or treats without your nimble-pawed pedigree nipping out between your legs. Extra doors can be purchased and added to the run in various positions too. The Lo-Rise Walk In Cat Enclosure still has a large door which is easy to reach through and ideal for topping up food and water quickly.

Extending your Outdoor Cat Run

The Outdoor Cat Run can be extended in numerous ways, whether you buy a large run straight away, or extend it over the years. Increase the width, length and height, using easy to add sections, and create a custom made run to suit your requirements. Please refer to the Outdoor Cat Run Configurator below for options on how to extend your run.

A range of Outdoor Cat Run Partitions are available that are compatible with all sizes of Outdoor Run and they are available to buy in full or half height. The partition features a secure door for easy personal access to each part of the run and can be used to separate different cats or to gradually introduce new cats to each other. It can also be used to create a separate feeding area.

Compatible with Omlet products

The Walk In Cat Enclosure is compatible with our range of Eglus. You might already have a bed or cat house that you want to put inside the enclosure, but should you decide that your pets might like an Eglu to snuggle up in, you will have that option. Connection kits are available to attach the run to most types of Eglu, while other houses can be placed directly inside, giving your cats a place to rest, shelter and dream of mice. If your Walk in Cat Enclosure is 3 panels wide or more you can connect any Eglu apart from the Eglu Go UP no run, Eglu Cube no run and Eglu Go Hutch 1m run to the side with the door.

Very good product, keeps my cat safe - California,

After spending much time researching the many different catios on the market, I am satisfied with my decision to go with this Omelet product. The 6 x 6 x 6 catio is a good size for the small patio slab outside the back door of my apartment. Assembly was not simple, and I had to refer to the video every step of the way. The printed instructions could be better. I found the great many small plastic clips involved to be problematic, as unclipping some to move them to a different position rendered them unusable. I will need to order more of those when I move. Disassembling this and then reassembling it after a move will not be easy. I think this catio would be ideal on a nice lawn in the backyard of a house. But it's good, on the less expensive end, and I recommend it.

Happy kitties! - California,

We love our 6x9x6 catio! It came super fast in the mail, was not very difficult to put together, and the cats LOVE it. We use zip ties to reinforce and made adjustments to provide for a cat door into the catio. It’s really well made and sturdy. Our three cats are in heaven and spend a lot of the day hanging out and playing!! I would love it if the catio had ad ons like interlocking ramps and extensions that could be higher. We would for sure purchase them. Otherwise, it is a great product!!

Cat 2x2x2 -

I set it up by myself using the video online and the manual, laying it out as per the video I’m only 5’4” so I used a ladder to do the roof. It took me about 6hrs to build but then I am a slow and methodical 53yo woman. The whole enclosure is well made and the clips tough, it took a little while to get the hang of the best way for handling the various clips so be patient with yourself. I found a flat screwdriver very handy for prying apart the pole clips if I’d placed them incorrectly. I erected this freestanding in my backyard away from the house and try as I might for a week or two my cat did not like it even when I sat in there with her and cat treats and toys and shade cloth so she did not feel too exposed. I was devastated however after much rethinking the structure and my rental property I took the enclosure apart and reconstructed the pieces to make a solid, escapefree run on the side of my rental house. I didn’t drill into the dwelling and I didn’t cut bend or otherwise change any of the mesh. All I added was a platform, a bridge made from garden edging and a cat hammock. Now my cat can come and go when she wants she happily pops in and out through my bathroom window and I still have a complete 2x2x2 run if I ever need to move.

Really pleased (and so are the cats) - Cambridgeshire,

The run arrived some days earlier than originally forecast which is always welcome. It was quite easy to erect (with help from my son-in-law and grandson). We installed the shorter side as close as possible to the rear boundary fence so that the run would include part of the shrub border for the cats to lie in. Unfortunately, 4 of the roof mesh panels were missing. I rang Omlet the following morning and the missing panels arrived the next day - excellent service. The run is now complete. The cats seem very content in their run. In fact the older one makes straight for it, after he's had his breakfast, and curls up in the sun in one of the garden chairs we have installed. He spends the rest of the day swapping between the chairs and the cat house we've added. Now that Autumn is upon us, I've ordered 3 of the heavy duty waterproof covers with the aim of covering three quarters of the roof (just leaving the part over the shrub border open to the elements).

Cats love it -

Ordered 3 kits on Saturday and they arrived on Tuesday. Thought that was great. Put them together myself over two afternoons. Cats use a window in the house to go in and out. Was very easy and they love the end result. Highly recommend Omlet thank you
