Clear Pet Bedding Tray
The large, deep bedding tray allows your gerbils and hamsters to nest and burrow naturally. The bedding tray is crystal clear at the front and back so you and your pets have the perfect view of each other.
Complete with Solid Floor
The Qute Hamster and Gerbil Cage now has solid floor. The majority of the floor is made from clear plastic, allowing you to get a good view of both the top and bottom of the cage and your pet. A slightly raised grid surface design provides grip, without being uncomfortable on small feet, and a section of mesh either side offers good ventilation and allows bedding or debris to fall into the tray below.
The Lift 'n' Twist™ Tube Keeps your Hamster Healthy and Happy
The Qute hamster house has two levels, the top floor is for feeding and exercising and underneath your pet hamsters and gerbils will love the extra deep tray for nesting and burrowing. You can use the patented Lift 'n' Twist Tube to separate the top level from the bedding tray - this fantastic feature is great for when you want to clean the bottom tray, remove it to add or retrieve something or if you want to interact with your pet.

An Easy to Clean Hamster Cage
Cleaning your Qute is amazingly quick and simple, in fact, you can clean it in less than 1 minute! You simply Lift 'n' Twist the tube and stow your pets upstairs while you clean the bedding tray. No other small animal house is quite that easy to clean and with a hygienic home, your pets will be healthier and happier.
Empty Tray - Empty the used bedding out of the bedding tray straight into the dustbin or a compost heap.
Wipe Clean - Use a pet-safe disinfectant to get the bedding tray squeaky clean.
Refill Tray - Refill the bedding tray with a good layer of fresh bedding and replace.
Safe and Secure
Qute small pet house is designed to keep your hamster safe and secure from other household pets including cats or dogs. The bedding tray has a secure lock on the underside - which is easy for children to use but prevents the tray from being accidentally moved. The wire spacing is suitable for gerbils and syrian hamsters but may not be suitable for dwarf hamsters.

Easy to Access

Not the best for Dwarfs - Melody,
Being a first time hamster keeper, I was so excited to get this cage and my hamster. The cage is really pretty and really well made. After i purchased my dwarf hamster and put him in the cage however, I realized that the tube was way too big for my dwarf hamster. I messaged customer services and they said he would eventually learn how to use it but it took him a really long time. I was so worried at one point that i started making a cardboard ramp to replace the tube. When he eventually did learn, he can go up the tube fine, but every time he tries to go down, he falls down with a thud. It worries me that eventually he will get hurt that way. He definitely won't be able to use it when he gets old. I really wish there's a smaller tube that can fit inside the large tube to make it easier for my dwarf. It would be nice if they had a warning that the tube is not suitable for dwarf hamsters, or offer a smaller tube option.

This is my first time owning gerbils and I knew that I wanted to get a cage that would be as humane as possible and this definitely gave me that! I have two gerbils in this cage and they absolutely love it. I don’t use the bowl that you get as it’s plastic and my gerbils are not interested in the wheel strangely but the little water bottle is perfect. One gerbil took to the central tube really easily and within a day was using it but the other gerbil took a couple of weeks. To combat the issue I took the tube out, laid it down in the bottom of the cage for the gerbil to get used to going through it ( used a climbing frame from pets at home in the meantime so they could still get to both levels) and then put it back in place when I noticed him sleeping in it (this took about 10 days so don’t worry) as I new he was no longer scared and this worked an absolute treat as he was going up and down it instantly! Loads of room to play and burrow at the bottom and plenty of room for a hideaway, sand bath, water bottle and eating area at the top. The storage space underneath is so handy and well worth the extra £10 to have it. Assembly wasn’t too bad but I did have help from my dad who is a builder for a living so that might be biased, I definitely wouldn’t say it’s as easy as ikea furniture but it is doable. A couple of things that are preventing me giving this 5 starts is that cleaning is not as straightforward as advertised if you are like me and like to be thorough however I only clean it out about once a month due to cleaning the sand bath out weekly so this is not really a big deal. The second thing stopping this being 5 star is because I would like the possibility to buy a double version of this but again this is matter of opinion and if I really wanted to I could buy another and have them put together. Overall this is an amazing cage and would recommend it to anyone regardless of a few personal and picky thoughts. Even my vet said how great it was!

This is the perfect cage if you are trying to save space. It is fairly small for 2 gerbils (and if you own gerbils, you know you need to have 2 together). My gerbils seems happy in it, but there is not much room to run. So, we use the bathtub to give them some running space once a day. The design of this is awesome though! My kids love that they can pull out the bottom and play with the gerbils whenever they want. It is easy to dump out and clean. The storage underneath is a huge plus. Assembly is difficult if you do it alone! I suggest having 2 people unless you like to cuss and throw things. Overall, I would recommend this!

The cage is awesome! It is very sturdy and keeps my sweet Mr. Chuckles safe while giving him lots of room to Run around and play. He loves and it makes quite conversation piece in our living room. It was quite a challenge to put together but it doesn’t appear it will ever come apart! Wonderful!
