These are cute and functional but unfortunately too big for my two elderly small bantams and I can't return them as they've been worn. They seemed to fit okay but slid down during the day until the poor chickens were in a straight jacket and couldn't get up the ramp to go to bed!

Omlet Says: Dear Elizabeth, I am sorry to hear that the High Viz jackets do not fit your little Batams, Here at Omlet we operate a 30 day no quibble returns policy, which you are still within. Please feel free to follow the link below to our returns page to send the jackets back via Royal mail. Once these jackets are back in our warehouse we will be able to refund you in full. Kindest regards, Omlet

Perfect - Just the job! - Derbyshire,

My girls backs were sore and they had lost feathers where Derek (my amorous cockeral) was constantly jumping on top of them to mate. So I bought all my girls jackets for protection - THEY WORK!! They did the job. My girls backs are 100% better now after wearing them. The sore areas are all healed up well and their feathers are growing back in now. These jackets have saved me from separating my chickens, so everyone is happy. I was worried that the jackets wouldn't fit my enormous chickens (ex-broilers) but they do and they cover the areas on their backs that matters. I couldn't be happier with the jackets! If anyone is having the same problem as me....I couldn't recommend these more, they work.

Brilliant! -

I love the Hi-Viz Chicken jackets! The two new rescue hens are lacking in feathers around their bodies so they keep warm in their jackets now the weather is changing. An added bonus for them is that they are protected from pecking from the other hens as they sort out their new pecking order. Highly recommended.

Great little jackets -

Received my 4 jackets and I love them. Not sure my girls share my enthusiasm, they get a bit freaked out at first but they do settle down. They look so cute. Great invention!

Super insulators too ! -

If you ever want to cheer anyone up then just put one of these jackets on a chicken from a flock and just watch the reaction of the rest. They don't recognise their lady buddy at first and it's hilarious !! The yellow one got the biggest reaction and so we had to start off with the moderate pink and tried it on each chicken in turn. They all walked backwards initially trying to take it off but soon got used to it. We have a couple of ex-batt chickens needing extra insulation at night and so we pop their high-vis 'pyjamas' on before they roost and it keeps their featherless areas warm as toast. No blue tinged combs in the morning ! They got used to their routine really quick and help us dress/undress them. Good value for money. Easy to use and wipeable too.

Great, fun product -

I bought the twin pack high-vis chicken jackets as a birthday present and they went down a treat! Great idea, very fun and helps keep the kids involved (and interested) with the chicken keeping! Thanks Omlet!!

Hi Vis chicken jackets -

These jackets are great - I have trained several of my birds as security hens and they are now easily identified by the others in times of need. The trained hens can now safely lead the others to safety and help them cross the road etc without risk of not being seen.

chikens jackets -

Dear Omlet Team, The jackets are quite funny, special for passers-by. The hens and the rooster had first to get use to it to like the jackets. They now get rid of feathers on the chest.

Great little jackets -

I bought a pack of two Hi Viz Jackets, pink & yellow. The reason was one of my Silver Sussex hens was bring pecked at the base of her back, near the tail and thought this would give her protection. It worked. I put the pink one on Cuckoo & the yellow one on the biggest light Sussex Snowy, hers was a little bit more snug on the fit but still OK, then following day Henrietta then Ruffles turn. Cuckoo's seemed to build her confidence as at first probably protected from body blows so she was not running scared. Not sure if it was her confidence or the others just got out of the habit after the 3 days, either way it worked. As nothing worse than when the happiness is off balance in the flock. The jackets were easy to put on & off, neither Cuckoo, The diva of the day or the other "nude" girls were spooked by them. It worked from the pecking point of view so very pleased. I took them off at night so they weren't used as pyjamas only as day wear. I plan in the autumn to get more so all "the girls" have jackets should I feel they need them. I thought they were good value as nice quality and pink was sooo Cuckoo's colour - the little diva!

alles o.k. -

Die Hühner hatten anfangs ein wenig Probleme mit der Weste, gingen sie teilweise nur noch Rückwärts oder fielen um. Jetzt geht es und sie kommen gut damit klar.
