I cannot comment on whether these would fool chickens, as I haven't tried yet. However, Two things were a bit off~putting from the start. They have a very strong smell (!) and each one has a sticky label on it, which is almost impossible to get off...Hence the "OK" rating.
Great for a bit of fun - popped them in first egg boxes we gave to family. They look good in an egg box - but on close inspecion you can see the seam. Godd shape size and colour - but very pleased with them.
I bought these to try to coax our chickens to lay IN the coop and not at random round the garden. They helped I am sure, but we have very stubborn chickens! They look like eggs, are durable and washable. Just what we wanted.
I bought this item in advance of me adopting 4 battery hens in order to encourage them to use the nesting box to lay their eggs. I put two in the nesting box before their arrival on the Sunday, one egg was laid in the nesting box on Monday morning and by Wednesday they all were! So I would recommend this product for any new chicken owner. They also make an eggcellent practical joke when you give someone a box of eggs for the first time.
I bought these to put in the egg boxes to show the pullets where to lay. They look realistic and do bounce.
Great fun, very authentic looking. Grandsons face was a picture at Christmas when he opened his present!! Thought he had been given 6 eggs!
These are great, had a lot of fun dropping them into peoples outstretched hands and their looks of alarm! Very realistic. Two have been given away, may have to order some more, not expensive either.
Product fine, just disappointed that I'm charged two lots of postage when the items ordered come in the same box!
My son loved these eggs, we have fooled many of our friends lol.
Brought these eggs as a joke for an Easter present and no one guessed they bounced, was great fun when I got one out the box and threw it at the floor...everyone loved them. The packaging even looks like a real plastic egg carton, only one thing I will say is that the eggs are covered in a kinda waxy coating which comes off in ya hands so I washed the eggs before giving them out.
