I have a small flock of mixed layers and rare breeds. Currently I have Silver Grey Dorkings, Ixworths and Vorwerks, and whilst I got some of each breed to evaluate them on egg laying and eating qualities, I'm so taken with all of them I may end up keeping all three breeds! The Dorkings are very mellow and gentle, the Ixworths are chunky bruisers and the Vorwerks, whilst the lightest of the three breeds, are cheeky and inquisitive. They're all delightful! I know I can't keep all the ones I've hatched this year, so I'm reluctantly listing a few trios for sale.
