Outdoor Omlet Catio Cat Run Extensions

This was an addition to our omlet we already had. We wanted molly to experience trees and soil. It was complicated as we had a wallthat we wanted to include. My son who is very handy spent all day customising some bits to make it fit. My neighbour was kind enough to let me put the supporting poles on his land.

Very well-designed and manufactured kit. It was a bit daunting when I first looked at the instructions and the many boxes of parts but it is actually very straighforward to assemble. Once you've mastered the principles for assembling one section then everything else just follows on from that. The site that I chose for the catio was a bit awkward as it was on a slope and I had to dig a 4-6 inch deep trench along one side to ensure the whole catio was level and lined up with the tunnels and window enclosure, but it worked out well in the end. I did think I might need a tower or two but these were unnecessary for my application - the tunnel linked straight into the window enclosure, and I used the outdoor cat shelves as steps down into the catio. This works well for my cats and saved a bit of money too. The shelves are very well made and should stand up to a lot of feline abuse. I did use a stand for the tunnel but I think I could have got away without that as the tunnel connections are strong enough - but it's a bit of "belt and braces" insurance just in case.

Wow, let me just say real quick. I am impressed came in a lot of boxes, but they were all labeled well. My cats both love this. I have to. It blends in so nicely and it needed no adjustment to fit my needs. I will definitely be buying extensions later.

Wir leben mit unseren Haus neben einer gut befahren Straße. Da ich mir 2 DLH Katzen zugelegt habe (Luna und Lilly) funde ich es ganz toll das die beiden einen geschützten aber auch in der Natur alles beobachten können. Nach 3-4 Stunden Aufbau( mit Video Anleitung) und mir meinen braven Mann wurde das Katzenparadies fertiggestellt. Ein Naturkratzbaum und viele kleine Accessoires peppen das Gehege noch mehr auf. I bought my outdoor run 2mx2m back in 2022 and it has been loved by my cat ( and me ) ever since. Easy to put up and really good quality. I also have the pole with the hammock type bed. I have been prompted to write because we needed to move the run and reconfigure it to fit in a different part of the garden. Everything was easy to do. All parts unclipped and reclipped like new and the frame easily came apart. I just wanted to let anyone know who is wondering about quality that I have been delighted. So has the cat.
