Cats can easily jump onto the platform, and step down into the litter liner to do their business in peace. As they step out and jump down from the litter box, loose litter will fall through the holes in the platform.



Inside the top entry litter box the durable and reusable litter liner is held in place by a strong retention band which clicks firmly into the rail guide at the side of the litter box so it can’t be pulled down by your cat. The Maya Cat Litter Box range is suitable for cats and kittens of all ages, although elderly cats with less mobility may find the Maya Enclosed Cat Litter Box easier to use. The Litter Boxes are all suitable for cats weighing up to 6kg. We recommend that the Litter Boxes are suitable for cats weighing up to 6kg because larger cats may find them uncomfortable to use. If you’re concerned that the entry hole in the door is too small for your cat, you could remove the door and use without, however, note the liner could slip out and odour control will not be as efficient.

The reusable litter liner will last up to a year if cleaned regularly with a soft cloth, but can be replaced if necessary. The activated carbon filter should also be replaced as necessary, around every three months.

In each litter box are 1x litter liner bag, 1x foldable Omlet scoop, 1x activated carbon filter.

The litter boxes are freestanding, however, the Jump In and Jump In with Storage come with anti-tip furniture straps so you can secure them to your wall to prevent any accidents when your cat is jumping in and out.
If you’ve had a cat litter tray before, place the Maya Litter Box in the same place for your cat to become familiar with. Also use the same litter inside which your cat is used to. Try placing your cat on top of the Jump On litter box, or inside the Maya Enclosed Cat Litter Box or Maya Enclosed Top Entry Cat Litter Box litter box to show him that the litter is inside.

The ideal solution for a household with young children and dogs - Philip,

We have had our cat for several years and we have been using a basic open-topped litter tray. The trouble with these is that litter (and more) can sometimes get kicked out onto the floor, and our dog takes an unhealthy interest in the results... We also have a toddler now who, for obvious reasons, we do not want to follow in our dog's footsteps. The Maya unit is ideal for us, because the cat is perfectly happy using it, and the others can't get in; the litter itself is well contained and the cat doesn't track it out on her feet; the carbon filter seems to keep the odour at bay; and the inner tray/liner is easy to remove, empty and clean. The unit is also reasonably easy to assemble, and fits well into our home. It is a bit pricey, but it is the only top-entry, dog-resistant cat toilet that we were confident would work for us, and it is pretty solid, so well worth the investment.

Great litter box- solves many problems - Stephanie, Essex,

I purchased this litter box after finally having enough 9f my puppy doing what, unfortunately, puppies do with cat litter trays if they can get to them. The top entry box with storage is fantastic. I was worried my kitten wouldn't use it. No problems there. He took to it quickly. I was worried it would be too dark for him. Due to the design, he actually has more light and room (he's a Maine coon). Not only is there zero smell coming from the box, but I am no longer stepping on sharp shards of silica litter. This is for 2 reasons: 1) the landing tray does brush off most litter back into the box as Brucie jumps out and 2) I purchased the Omlet silica litter to try and it is much softer on the feet and, I imagine, kitty toe beans. I hesitated before buying this, but wish I'd gone for it when I first brought my kitten home 3 months ago. This is the 3rd litter box I've tried. I think it will be the last. I also have to compliment the easy assembly instructions, rapid shipping, and terrific customer service. Because of where I have to put the box, I have set it on furniture sliders in case it needs to be moved. Thank you, Omlet!
