Chickens roaming in a fenced off area. A simple way to keep your chickens in one area of the garden.

The dark green movable poultry fencing blends well amongst the flora and fauna of your garden, so it doesn’t stand out and it’s almost invisible from a distance. By contrast the guy ropes are hi-vis and contain a reflective strand that makes them stand out day and night to guard against any trips or accidents.

Pushing the spiked fencing pole into the ground. It is quick to set up the fencing by pushing the poles in with your foot.

This handy chicken fencing comes in a roll and is very easy to put up and move about. It will save you so much time compared to a traditional post and chicken wire solution. All poles have two spikes that provide great stability and make it easy to 'tread' them into the ground. The netting is designed to be tangle-free and peck proof for added security and durability, meaning that it is easier to use and more secure than ever.

Man operating the Omlet chicken fencing gate. The handy gate gives you quick access to your chickens.

Omlet’s Chicken Flexible Fencing comes with an inbuilt gate which features a newly redesigned catch that is stronger and more comfortable to use. You can also set the width of the gate opening to your preferred size making it easy to get in and out to feed your chickens. Another great feature of the gate is that you can position it wherever you want within the layout you have chosen, you can put it at any end, the middle or anywhere else. The width of the gate opening can also be adjusted to suit.

Suits Any Shape or Sized Garden

Available in 4 different sized rolls to suit your garden's/chickens' needs. You can also make any shape of chicken enclosure you like, rather than just squares or rectangles.

Man operating the Omlet chicken fencing gate. Reflective guy ropes provide high visibility when needed.

The Omlet Chicken Fencing is now easy to spot at night and on gloomy evenings thanks to some new reflective features. Not only are the guy ropes reflective but the gate now also features a reflective badge so you can find it easily in the dark. This is really handy in winter when you might be popping out to check on your hens at dusk.

The dimensions of Omlet chicken fencing. Omlet's chicken fencing is taller than most other fencing

With an overall height of 1.25m, (which is taller than most chicken fencing), you can be confident that even the most determined of your feathered friends won’t make a great escape! The poles of the fence are also adjustable to ensure that the netting remains tight and secure at all times.

Perfect For Smaller Poultry

This poultry fencing is also suitable for use with smaller chickens like bantams. The fencing has the same size holes from top to bottom that are approximately 50mm wide.

PLEASE NOTE - This fencing is intended as a means of keeping your chickens in a contained area. It is not predator proof and cannot be electrified. The fencing will arrive folded down the middle and as a result may have a temporary crease when first assembled. This will disappear after a short period of use.

Great products - Paula, Essex,

I use mine round my chicken pen i v not had a brake in from any foxes and was so easy to run round my pen new mesh would of cost twice the amount but I would say if this was in a field my chicken would jump over it and not stay in but its great for small breeds and pen cover to stop foxes

Still a good product but new plastic fencing isn’t as attractive - Alex,

I loved the previous version of the omlet fence so much that I tried to buy it again. They changed the product a lot but the biggest change is that the fencing is now a flat plastic grid material vs the cloth-like rope of the earlier version. The change wasn’t clear when I bought the product and I was disappointed when it came. It’s still a good product that does its job but is just less attractive.

Great product! - Amy, South Carolina,

I researched a lot of options online, and decided to go with the Omlet fencing. So glad I did! It is durable, secure and good looking in that it doesn't draw attention to itself. This fencing has been a great solution to break my fenced-in back yard into two halves: one half for the hens, and one half for the dogs and humans. The gate is very cleverly designed, too, so that I have ready access to both sides of the yard. Very pleased!

- Patricia, Washington,

This is a great product and perfect for expanding the roaming area for backyard chickens. It is easy to set up, however the instructions for the gate components are not very clear.

Doesn't Do The Job (old version of the fencing) - Amelia,

I'm afraid I can only give this product 2 stars. I spent quite some time researching products so that my chickens could free range around the garden and picked this one because of the great reviews it had. I found the product quite tricky to put up and as I have undulating ground have had to supplement with additional tent pegs to stop there being a gap at the bottom of the fencing but once up it's proved to be quite sturdy and blends in well with the garden. I've only given 2 stars - 1 for the fencing itself - unfortunately my chickens can get out - I have two Isa Browns, one of which quite happily flies over the fencing and in again as she wishes, I also have Silkies which are quite small and I have seen them jump up to the larger holes and push themselves through the netting. This happened when I first put it up - they didn't understand it was there to keep them in as previously I let them out to roam where they liked or if they get spooked they try to get out in a panic (they seem to have settled now and are happy now to stay in the compound). So unfortunately, for my chickens the fencing isn't fit for purpose. I've also given another star for Omlet customer service which is excellent.
