I live in a small village in County Durham, in a rural location. I have only kept chickens for a few years. Last year my new Wyandotte bantams went broody and between the three, successfully hatched 3 chicks. I kept one, thinking it was a Marigold as it had all the female traits. Turns out it wasn't and he is a beautiful Buff Plymouth Rock bantam cockerel! I added to the flock in September 2020 a lovely Campine and have recently purchased 2 hybrids as my little Wyandottes are all broody again. I love my chickens and they are very spoilt.
