The grit feeder is brightly coloured stable and made of good quality plastic.I hope that it doesn't fade like my red clip on feeders have that I got with my egloo go . The girls were very curious as usual and already using it .The feeder is large but this means that there is less to fill up each day and the size makes it very stable. The only criticism is the fact that the roof does keep on very well and takes time to attach properly .

The glug and grub are fabulous for our very active and scratchy hens,Shirley (Bassey) and Pink (Pink). We could rent them out as mini rotavators!! We had a run built for them so they have a house and mini run,bigger run and then the garden when allowed. They seem to like the bit of garden that has the bulbs or new planting in it.They have laid one or two eggs everhy day for the last 7 months. They have warm mash for breakfast every day in the cold weather now.Having ane easier food and drink dispenser has been fantastic as the traditional dispensers needed to be cleared out nearly every day, the water certainly did, but with the glug and grub it needs far less changing. They stand neatly alongside the wire fencing as we don't have the right fencing to attach them to

I like the stand as it makes getting to the food and water easy. You can place it were you want .

Ideal, easy to carry out to run. Girls loved it. Stopped food being scratched/thrown onto floor.

Bought these to replace temporary feeding bowls when I had to separate my two chickens for a while. The Grub keeps food dry and I can leave at least two days supply. The Glug holds generous supply of water and doesn't get dirt kicked into it by foraging chickens quite so easily. The temporary bowls were just too much hassle in the end. Now my chooks have been reunited they have a spare set, very handy for cleaning and in anticipation of frosty mornings when the water has frozen over.

A useful addition for our set up. I can let one set of feeder/drinker sterilise while using the other. Sturdy and colourful

unfortunately had to stop using it because chickens nocked off the grub feeder twice, luckily i was around and could go in and re hang it. sorry but wouldn't buy it again :(

This is a great grit feeder, larger than I expected but plenty of room to fill it up and it stays dry. Only problem I have had is getting the roof to stay on, it keeps popping off. It takes some fiddling to line it up correctly to get it to stay on.

I love it and so do the hens but it's meant for eglu owners and not other coops with different mesh sizes very awkward to rig up wires to attach it to our coop. Please invent a universal one all you great designers over at omlet.
