Feeder Drinker Stand
Brigid, West Sussex,
No problem assembling the stand, but, with feeder and drinker correctly in place, the feeder has been knocked off the stand by my hens twice within a week, with considerable wastage of food. So no longer using it.

Not reliable
Colin,
Works sometimes. The unit clogs and stops delivering water. Have bought a more reliable one

Too easy to knock over
Nick,
The feeder is not fit for purpose. When it rains, the food gets wet , the chickens often knock it over in their excitement and one of the chicken can even eat the pellets through the top filling hole.

flimsy
Carolyn,
Tends to collapse easily especially when attaching full feeders.

Design fault
Penelope,
Whilst the size and ease of feeding food which remains dry is excellent, the small extrusion on the front damages the breast feathers so that each of my three chicken has a bald patch exactly where they rub against it when they feed. I am hoping one of the other designs will avoid this problem.
Review for: Feeder for Eglu Go - Leaf Green
Bit boring!
Isobel,
At least that's what the chickens think - I think they vote with their feet as far as grit is concerned. After the first couple of days they seem to ignore it.

Far too big
Waldron,
Your reputation is built on your small chicken houses. Did nobody measure the grit feeder before they promoted it? It is a great item but far too big for the houses you sell.
Review for: Grit Station Feeder
Cheap but be warned.
Matt,
This item is a good price and does what you would expect i.e. provide a good amount of water to your chucks. Be warned though, once full, it becomes quite heavy which would not be a problem if the carry handle had been designed to be strong enough to cope with the item full of water. Mine had not, the handle came off the flimsy plastic lugs and the drinker hit the floor fully filled. This caused the plastic lugs which hold the two parts together to snap off and rendered the whole item fit only for the plastic recycling bin! DO NOT rely on the handle when it is full of water.
Review for: 6 Litre Combination Drinker (with legs)
Disappointing
Genericjanedoe,
Like a few other reviewers here and on the forum, my chickens absolutely cannot get the hang of the superglug. They were desperate for water and kept pecking at the water nipples, but getting nowhere. I have no choice but to provide them with an alternative source of water before they keel over altogether!
Review for: New Eglu Cube Drinker & Pro - Green
dirty water
An Omleteer,
My choocks keep sitting on top of this to drink and so get the water dirty every day, no matter how high I place it. Could a flip top lid be added, as the principle is great.
