A great, informative and easy to follow book that has been invaluable. The only thing missing has been any information about poisonous plants.

A very nice book with lots of basic information which i read in one sitting.great for a beginner like me although i feel i will need to purchase another book as i advance with my chicken keeping.

This is a reasonable priced book which does exactly what it says in the the title. It provided a sensible introduction to the basics of keeping chickens.

Good introductory book, however gives little more info than you'll find on this website or at the omlet hen party training. Lovely gift for someone thinking about getting chickens but not enough in there for someone who has some already.

I was hoping for something with a little more info. However it is a good book for my daughter - very much her level.

Great christmas present for husband, who wants to keep chickens... but it would be good if the parcel had turned up anonomously, as he spotted the parcel and now knows he's got a chicken related present!

A very easy to read book, although I would have liked to have learnt more about common chicken ailments.

This is a great book and i go back to it time and tima again, its full of great information as well as pictures and even tips. This is also a great book for children, its easy to understand and with the pictures i found my children enjoyed reading it and became chicken experts over night. Well worth buying, i would recommend it to anyone.
