We love this hamster cage! More importantly, Fluffy loves it too.

This is my first time owning gerbils and I knew that I wanted to get a cage that would be as humane as possible and this definitely gave me that! I have two gerbils in this cage and they absolutely love it. I don’t use the bowl that you get as it’s plastic and my gerbils are not interested in the wheel strangely but the little water bottle is perfect. One gerbil took to the central tube really easily and within a day was using it but the other gerbil took a couple of weeks. To combat the issue I took the tube out, laid it down in the bottom of the cage for the gerbil to get used to going through it ( used a climbing frame from pets at home in the meantime so they could still get to both levels) and then put it back in place when I noticed him sleeping in it (this took about 10 days so don’t worry) as I new he was no longer scared and this worked an absolute treat as he was going up and down it instantly! Loads of room to play and burrow at the bottom and plenty of room for a hideaway, sand bath, water bottle and eating area at the top. The storage space underneath is so handy and well worth the extra £10 to have it. Assembly wasn’t too bad but I did have help from my dad who is a builder for a living so that might be biased, I definitely wouldn’t say it’s as easy as ikea furniture but it is doable. A couple of things that are preventing me giving this 5 starts is that cleaning is not as straightforward as advertised if you are like me and like to be thorough however I only clean it out about once a month due to cleaning the sand bath out weekly so this is not really a big deal. The second thing stopping this being 5 star is because I would like the possibility to buy a double version of this but again this is matter of opinion and if I really wanted to I could buy another and have them put together. Overall this is an amazing cage and would recommend it to anyone regardless of a few personal and picky thoughts. Even my vet said how great it was!

My gerbils love this cage,as do I as it's a lovely addition to my lounge. The only problem I've had was getting the gerbils to go up the tube,took it out in the end and made a platform for them to reach the hole,didn't take long for them to work it out.really easy to keep clean and the deep tub is great for my girls to burrow in . Pleased with my purchase would recommend

I bought this cage for 2 gerbils and they love it. The quality is good and the design is clever. The storage drawer at the bottom of the cage is fantastic for all the gerbils’ food and other items so helps to keep the floor around the cage clutter free. In addition to this one of the clear panels which make up the bottom section of the cage (the deep drawer section) was scratched quite badly when it was received, despite having been packed very well. I contacted customer service but they were closed- they called me back first thing next morning and I was sent another panel to replace the damaged one! Excellent customer service and no fuss. My daughter and her gerbils love the cage.

Fairly easy to set up, amazing storage and so happy it came with wheel, bowl and bottle!! Only concern is, hamsters need to burrow and need several inches of bedding, however there is not enough room for that much bedding or else they won’t be able to climb up the tube! The back of the cage also has a fairly big gap for my hamster to get stuck in. Other than that, so pleased with the cage.

I had been looking for something like this and thought I would have to make something. This is EXACTLY what I needed. It was easy to put together and my gerbils love making little nests and tunneling around. They're even using the wheel which is just right for long tails (no spaces for tails to be caught). I'm so happy I found this!

I love this cage! I found it extremely easy to put together, I don’t know what others have found difficult but I had no problems at all! I have only had my new dwarf hamster for a day but so far she seems to be very content in her cage, she loves burrowing down in to her bedding st the bottom, she hadn’t figured out how to use the tube yet but I’m really hoping she manages it, if not I’ll have to replace with a ramp of sorts, maybe this could be taken in to account and the cage could be supplied with both a tube and a ramp. The water bottle is also leaking but in my experience most bottles tend to leak and other than that I’m very happy with my purchase! There is plenty of room for a dwarf hamster, even with lots of toys etc in there! I have read lots of comments about urine leaking, I can’t comment on the cleaning aspect of this cage yet but it appears to be fairly simple and as long as you are changing it out often enough I don’t think this should be an issue, I also don’t mind taking the bed apart every now and then for a deep clean and getting in to the corners of this does happen for me. I'm very happy with this product although I think it could've been slightly larger to be ahead of all other small animal cages. Having integral storage is a real plus and means that the immediate area around the cage can also be kept tidy and clean. The wheel (thank goodness) is silent and the concept of the twist tube is great! Cleaning is much easier than with a conventional cage and my boy gerbils enjoy rearranging their bedding in the bottom half. Only one criticism which is that the dividing floor drops off the lugs at the back of the cage when I'm cleaning and feel that a retro fritted clip could be designed to keep the floor in place while washing. Otherwise, great and I would recommend.

Fantastic item. Very well thought out. Purchased as gerbils had wrecked their previous home but this one has been designed so chewing is not a problem. Design very pleasing to the eye for my daughters teenage bedroom. Delivery by UPS was the only grumble item did not arrive on specified date but nothing to do with product.

Hamster cage is fab and my daughters hamster just loves it! It’s great quality and looks lovely in their bedroom ! It’s a well thought out design only wish that the wheel and other plastic items came in another colour or at least an option. Money well spent
