The Fido Studio arrived promptly and after a few hours (I’m not very quick with flat-pack!), with great step by step instructions, the Studio was complete. It looks great, and fits in perfectly with the rest of our kitchen furniture, many compliments have been made by our friends.
Our new Pomeranian puppy loves it too, we keep the doors open during the day and he happily goes in himself for naps. At night we close the doors for his safety, and he never complains as he feels secure and happy in it. The wardrobe/cupboard is a brilliant addition to the crate, keeping all his doggy food/paper mats/harness and lead etc. out of the way and tidy.
A fantastic purchase, thank you!
Aesthetics are very important to us. In the countdown to the arrival of Bowie, our Italian Greyhound pup (whippet cross) I was feeling dread over having to accommodate an ugly crate in our small, but considered, house. Idly searching the internet I came across the Fido Studio 24 (WITH WARDROBE!) and there was no going back. I'm all for throwing money at the problem, and it really paid off in this case. Bowie is happy, we are over the moon, and our friends with an eye for design who now have puppies see it all with fresh eyes. We are all cock-a-hoop with it. Thank goodness for Omlet, our standards haven't dropped: owning a pet doesn't need to be ugly!
Husband easily put this together. Didn't realise cushion was separate so had to order this separately. Well worth it though as puppy very happy in his
Still loving having this lovely piece of furniture in my home. Super sturdy and my dog loves it, nice to be able to hide all his accessories and things too!
This crate was perfect for me! I'd been searching the world (unsuccessfully) for a crate that looked great to put in my newly renovated house...I just didn't want an ugly crate that I couldn't wait to get rid of! I wanted one that looked like a piece of furniture so I would see through the crate training. My friend sent me a link to this product and it was just what I was looking for. My puppy, now 7 months, seems very happy to spend time in there and it still looks as new after 5 months. She has however just managed to eat her way through 2 of your cushions, she's pretty brutal when it comes to chewing but maybe these could be tougher? Otherwise, a fabulous product I would highly recommend. Thank-you!
First and foremost, the Fido crate is a fantastic idea and a dream for all owners who would like a crate that would fit and integrate seamlessly into their living space (rather than a standalone crate with grilles). My dog loves his crate and happily sleeps in it every night and whenever he wants some me-time.
I took 1 star off as the flat-pack assembly instructions were not straightforward to follow, and some of the holes were not drilled properly. This is definitely an area that can be improved as what may be intuitive to the designers/engineers might not be for a first-time layman user!
Overall, buy with confidence and your dog will love you for it.
The Fido Studio Dog Crate was simplicity itself to assemble and consists of remarkably high quality materials. Very good value for money and stylish 'to boot'...Highly recommend it!
We’ve had this crate since we first brought our puppy home. The first thing he did was stretch out loving the fact he had so much space after being in the litter. Luckily he was already crate trained when he came home, he’s never had a problem being there and is as happy being popped in during the day if we have to leave him, as he is at bedtime. He has plenty of room to grow into it too. Also has the added bonus of being easy to clean and looks good in our living room too!
Bought this for my cockapoo puppy and she loves it. The lovely cushion is very good quality and fits perfectly.
Love the crate and the idea of having it as part of your furniture - it's definitely one-of-its-kind out there.
However, I had some serious issues with the getting the right products delivered (there were 2 wrong deliveries) before finally receiving what I ordered.
The DIY instructions and the flat pack components were also not the most user-friendly and it was a bit of a challenge putting it all together and having to figure out how they all piece together.
