Pullets, cockerals and unsexed chicks
range of chocks. from 5 week olds (just off heat), sexing is easier than I thought now the boys have big red combs and the start of wattles. also have unsexed chicks of varying ages for £10.. far to many for me to keep, so anyone interested in some feel free to get in touch.
unrelated parents (mums from Yorkshire, dad from Hampshire... he gave us the campine bug, but it was quite hard to source them locally.
quite active, good flyers, intelligent but not overly friendly birds, unless theirs food involved then they're all over you. will tolerate being picked up, but wouldn't come to you for cuddles. but we love them!
prefect free rangers, very alert. their mums can fly two stories high vertically up form a standstill (thoguth we'd lost them when we first got them home, but luckily the crowing the next morning brought them running for luurve. so would definitely consider clipping wings and keeping in coop a few days before letting them go wild.
