Well made and sturdy and we are addicted pet chicken keepers in less than a week. We are already looking for local breeders to supply a 3rd chicken - if not a 4th. Really easy to clean - especially with the plastic roosting bars. The lilac colour is fun but not too brash for a garden setting.

We are REALLY pleased with our Eglu. We weren't sure about having chickens in our London garden, but our neighbours talked about keeping chickens after the War. We heard about the Eglu from friends and were impressed with it from the website. When they arrived, the 'Chicken Chauffeur' was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We have a Siamese cat and were concerned he would attack them but they gave him a peck and he learn't quickly - they certainly rule the rule! We were also worried about foxes, but the Eglu is as secure as a tank, they are very safe. Our chickens are really affectionate and love cuddling Samantha, our 13-year-old daughter. We are now looking forward to our first egg, shouldn't be long now..

The eglu arrived a day earlier than expected which was good. On Monday we received 3 ex battery hens and by the next day they had laid eggs so they must have been impressed too!

The Eglu is an excellent product, easy to maintain, of manageable size and aesthetically pleasing. I proved simple to install and the chickens settled in very quickly, one laying the next day. My wife counts this as one of her most exciting birthday presents.

Mabel and Ginger (the chickens) have settled in really well and love their daily run around the garden. We were surprised to find our first egg within hours’ of their delivery and they have been regularly producing one to two eggs per day, with the occasional double yolker! Our cat has finally got used to the chickens after initially being nervous of them and the chickens don’t seem to mind him whatsoever! They are fun to watch and quite mischievous, with their favourite food being lettuce stolen from the vegetable patch.

our beautiful lilac eglu arrived on the 27th May, a day earlier than expected so i was very excited. it is a stunning colour and much prettier in real life. we collected our 4 gorgeous girls on the 29th May and haven't looked back since. They're all very happy with their new home.

We are so pleased with are ladies, we even got an egg the day after delivery which was so exciteing. They follow me round like my dogs do. You gave a first class service - I've told everyone i know. Many thanks very much for adding clara-cluk and henetta to family.

After the anticipation whilst waiting for our delivery we were afraid of an anti climax. However when our eglu arrived we were thrilled with its composition and when our two hens; Gladys and Ethel, were introduced to us and their new home the only word to describe it all was "perfection". One hen lay an egg for us seven days after arriving and we have collected four more in the six days since. We suspect Ethel is the producer! but can't be certain.

Superb! Delivery and installation was great and our chickens are now very happily installed and one is already laying. Really easy to clean and to move about - am recommending it to all my friends!

I love this product, looks brilliant and everyone agrees, although not cheap I can appreciate the testing and manufacturing the product would have had to endure over time, cant wait to get some chickens in it now.
