I have had 4 Eglu classics. Its an excellent product, but quite variable. Latest has a very stiff door handle. But a good one is the Rolls Royce of henhouses and is much more durable than the Go.

Fantastic hen house, perfect for our small garden. Super fast delivery, well packaged and easy to put together. All you need to get started. Only thing on the downside was the price was a bit steep. Overall though, very happy.

I first wanted to keep chickens years ago and was very excited when Omlet launched the Eglu 10 years ago, however life got in the way until now. We love the Classic - it looks great, is amazingly easy to keep clean and in the first 6 days we have had 20 eggs! Obviously the hens are as happy with their home as we are. The only slight downside is that moving the run every couple of days to put them on fresh grass is a bit of chore - if I succumb to the dreaded "morehen" disease, we'll upgrade to the Cube just to make this task effortless.

We have found the Eglu to be a very convenient and modern chicken housing system. Our girls and boy moved in as soon as it was set up in their pen and the cleaning and welfare tasks are much eased by the plastic construction and modern design. Thoroughly recommend. Tony and Sandra Leiber

I'm really enjoying my new Eglu Classic. It's my first time keeping chickens and as well as the eglu looking good in the garden, it really is easy to keep clean. My only negative points are that when it rains, water leaks in around the edges of the side door( egg hatch). This is a problem for me because my chickens sleep in that area and when winter arrives, I'm going to have to modify the hatch door in some way. Also, when raking out the run the only way I can get to the area near the eglu is to take the eglu apart. Don't get me wrong I really do love my eglu , just wish there was a side door on the run to help when cleaning. To end on a positive note, I would highly recommend the eglu classic as it looks great and above all, I feel my chickens are secure at night. Happy chickens = happy owner! :)

Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Easy to move. All you need to keep two or three chickens at home.

The Eglu is an outstanding product. Strong, stylish and esy to maintain. Our chucks had previously been housed in a flimsy wooden coop that had begun to rot. They love their new home!

1. Absolutely stellar design. 2. Easy to clean out poo, easy to get eggs, easy to put them away and open up. 3. The hens love it and were up to laying one a day very quickly 4. We are complete novices and have been able to learn the basics very quickly 5. I was a bit concerned about the bright colour in our traditional garden but actually it is not nearly as garish as I thought and many people have commented how stylish it is. Could not be more pleased.

Bought as a Christmas present.Using the easy to follow booklet, the eglu was quickly assembled, and 3 chickens were at home by late morning.It is well built, stylish, and does not look out of place in a standard suburban garden. But, best of all, it is so easy to keep clean and tidy. Out comes the tray, in go fresh wood shavings, and fresh hay in the nest area, and the perches get a quick hose and scrub down,and "hey presto" its spotless. Gave the hens a few days to get used to their new surroudings,and now they wander freely around the garden, which is totally enclosed. And, not forgetting, a steady supply of fresh eggs ! Hooray.
