Having purchased an eglu for our rabbit and guinea pig we have now put our tortoises in it! We started using the eglu for our 6 tortoises and they loved it during most of the year, happily putting themselves to bed of an evening. On realising that the eglu was ideal for our tortoises we decided to hibernate them in it this year. On purchasing the jacket I periodically check the temperature and humidity in the eglu, and the jacket certainly keeps the temperature at a reasonable level. Whilst we thought this product was expensive I have to say it is worth the money. It fits well, is made of quality material and looks great! Our first rabbits and they and we are very happy a natural place to live and we find it easy to move about to give them new surroundings. Easy to keep clean as well.

It looks great, it is weather-proof, fox proof and dog proof. It is easy to clean, although my son is only just, after 4 years, big enough to to man handle the top by himself. The issue we have is that it has been difficult to really bond with our bunny. If he doesn't want to come out and play it is very difficult to get at him in the run as the door is so small. On balance we feel that a wooden hutch would have been better for getting at him for cuddling and playing.

We bought the 'Rablu' 4 weeks ago and at first I thought I'd made a mistake but stick with me.... Having already ordered I took a closer look at some of the reviews and started to worry that there was a lot of talk about it being too small and awkward to move. I can reassure you that with a bit of tweaking it has made the perfect home for my two mini rex rabbits and they are really happy in it. Yes the pod part is small but you have to view the unit as a whole and so long as you are letting your bunnies have daily access to the garden it's an ample size. We decided rather than keep moving the eglu around the garden we would make a permanent home for it (recommend this as it is a bit heavy to move on your own) so have cornered of an area, barked it and have used carefresh bedding to cover the floor of the run. I also pegged the run down with some cheap garden pegs and now it feels really secure. Easy enough to clean the pod but a bit tricky but not impossible to get to the middle of the run so it's an idea to put a litter tray at the front near the door. I felt a bit unsure about leaving the door open at first as they seemed a bit exposed with such a large opening for the door so I put a large cardboard box with a hole cut out & filled with straw inside which they like to huddle behind and that solved that. My only concern (and the reason it's not a 5 star review) is the catch underneath the pod to release the top section seems to be buckling already after just a few uses, really hoping it doesn't break as I have no-where to house the rabbits if it needs to be returned!

This is so sturdy solid and easy to clean. Our two school bunnies have been happy, warm and cosy since they arrived! the run is stable and although the foxes have visited, the bunnies have been safe:)

After visiting the Omlet shop, we realized that the chicken eglu would not work for ducks (ducks can't be on roosting bars). There is a specific duck eglu product but that wasn't on sale while the rabbit one was (virtually the same product anyway). We are finding the eglu incredibly easy to use. The fact that it is so easy to clean is the major selling point. Pop off the top, remove the tray, dump wood shavings into compost, hose off, light 'scrub' with the hands, and done. It could not be any easier and is vastly superior to any wood house we would have otherwise bought. For the cleaning aspect alone we are glad to have spent the extra money that the eglu costs.

My parents bought the rabbit eglu two years ago for my two rabbits and it is very good. The only problem is that my rabbits like to destroy things(nice new bedding!) and as there isnt a little ledge from out side to inside my rabbits pull all of the bedding outside and leave a mess. Other then this though it was a very good buy and my rabbits love it!

I bought the eglu rabbit for my three guinea pigs and it is great. So easy to clean, they feed themselves on grass so no more pet food and they mow the grass at the same time! Plus with a new cocker spaniel puppy in the family the anti fox run is worth its weight in gold. I will be back when im ready for the chickens!

An excellent size, very easy to clean. Love how simple and lightweight the run is. I wish there was a small lip on the door to prevent all the wood shavings coming out, and handles on the Eglu itself would make moving it round the garden so my guineas can nibble the grass much easier.

We love our new rabbit eglu & more imprtantly so do Peter & Poppy our rabbits! Its as easy as all the videos show...easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to access. Great product & well worth paying a premium to the bog standard wooden rabbit hutches. Thanks Eglu
