What I love - I love this bird cage and my 2 little budgies (chip & dip) love it too. They have much more freedom to move around and do their flappy zoomies 😂 I bought extra accessories along with the cage and I’m glad I done so because the shape of the cage makes it difficult to add and fit general accessories that you can purchase in a local pet store. I got the mirror, the half mirror, the bird bath and a few extra packages of cage liners. Assembly - It turned out to be a bit more complicated than I thought to put it together. I thought it would come as a few big panels to put together but nope… you have to assemble each individual panel with clips. They are a little bit fiddly getting them to clip into the exact position. If you make one little mistake near the beginning and do t realise until you are nearly finished then you have to take the whole thing apart. BUT, don’t let that out you off. It’s really not difficult if you follow the instructions. I enjoyed building it. The instructions are illustrative only. I wish there were written instructions to go with the pictures because it took me a while to figure out some bits. Con’s - There’s nothing special about the cage liners. They’re just regular paper. I would like to see an option of cage liners that have sandpaper to help with keeping nails trimmed. If I want to empty the tray that catches seed shells under the feeders it means I have to remove the cage from the base which is a little bit inconvenient if I’m just doing a quick clean. Delivery charge is a bit steep because I’m in Europe and it was an Irish website Omlet .ie. I would have hoped if someone spent over a certain value that you would offer free delivery. In saying all of that, I would definitely purchase from Omlet again. I also have chickens and I like what I see on the website.

I have the stars cover already. Fantastic. Quality, stitching. Everything. Is a little more “cream” than shown, however I am colour blind. So thought it was white in the pics. Great product. Thank you.

I purchased this cage, four years ago, my budgie loves it ! As soon as he strolled into it, he had space to fly, even though he is outside the cage most of the time. It was difficult to put together at first, but after two try ‘s, I got it. Now I would prefer to purchase another, so I could put the cage together , better, and have double door entry. I have only one spoiled, but smart budgie ! Also, he never would use the food dishes, as he was used to different ones. Birds do get set in their ways! The bamboo stand is also very nice.

Once a week I clean the cage...takes 10 minutes. These liners and the easy wipe off plastic base makes owning a bird not a chore.

Love this cage it’s very stylish & roomy for the budgies! Top is easily removed and so are the legs. Just a twist underneath to remove which is a great improvement on other cages. The central feeder is great for reducing mess too. I think this could be improved . I have 2 budgies fed on fresh chop am and a seed/grain mix & pellets pm. I improvised & removed the containers using regular removable dishes for their food. Would be great if omelet made removable inserts for their food base dish. Other than that small niggle it is a great cage & I love it!

I use the bird bath for treats and fresh food offerings. The mirror is good, remember to take off the protective film(kind of difficult to get an edge started, but it will eventually:))

Nice quality. Good size. Keeping the seed in the middle really decreases floor mess. I use the bird bath for fresh vegs/fruits. Thinking about getting a spare as there is nothing else like this cage available.

My 15 year old parakeet Shoelace passed away last week. I got him at Petsmart as a companion for my now 21 year old cockatiel. My company office moved, so I wasn't able to come home at lunch time, and Shoelace kept the cockatiel from screaming all day. Shoelace didn't like me much, hiding in the back corners of his cage - especially when I reached in to give him food. I accepted this, as he was my cockatiel's parakeet, not mine. I did some reconfigurations of their living arrangements three years ago, and I bought a Geo Dome cage for Shoelace. What a difference. Over the last three years he stopped hiding at the back of the cage, and frequently came to the front watching me. He was up and down, on the swing, down to the floor, to the middle for food. He still didn't like my hands, but he was much more sociable, and engaged with me (a few years after I got him, I started working from home, and the cages are about 3 feet to my right as I work.) Without corners, he stopped trying to hide. The day before he died I refilled the food dishes, and he hopped right up next to my had and started to eat. It was the closest he ever came to willingly letting me touch him, and I will treasure it as a last moment with him. The Omlet Geo Bird Cage completely changed my relationship with Shoelace, changing him from my cockatiel's companion, OUR companion, and despite my grief over his loss, I appreciate so much the change this cage wrought in him.

First, my spouse and I love Midcentury Modern design, and the cage fits with our home’s look and feel. The birds don’t care, of course, but visitors always love the look of our home, and the bird song is a huge hit. Second, I love how easy the entire cage and components are to clean. It doesn’t feels like a chore (those pet store box cages were a pain). Third, I think our three parakeets like the cage. They seem to always be chirping, chewing, playing, eating, and especially pooping (see ease of cleaning above). Thanks for designing a cage that is a part of the joy that is our home.
