Excellent introduction to hen keeping! -

This is a wonderful venue in London where you can see chickens roaming and relaxing, and we also got to handle them. We had a great introduction to different types of chicken, what chickens need, how easy it is to keep them in London, and the legal side of what you can feed them and what to do with the eggs. We looked at the Eglu chicken houses and health and hygiene. Sara is warm and welcome and explains things clearly and patiently. She is a great hostess too and we enjoyed delicious homemade cake with our tea, and homemade jam in our goodie bags. The group was mixed with some young children and they really enjoyed it too. A great experience for all the family. Thanks to Sara and her family for running these courses!

Great introduction to urban hen keeping -

It may have been pouring with rain, but we still had an excellent time learning the basics of urban hen keeping. Sara and Andy were very generous with their time and hospitality, and gave loads of practical advice. We loved the home-made refreshments, and the goody bags too!

Introduction to Bee Keeping -

It was a lovely day in July. Excellent tuition and lovely food. I would highly recommend this even if you are not considering bee keeping. Sara is a great communicator and passionate about her business . She is very enterprising and I hope to take another course cometime in the future.

Bee Keeping day -

We had a really lovely day. We had perfect weather to spend all day in the garden, it was very relaxed and we were made to feel very at home. A nice small group of would be bee keepers led at a pleasant pace by Sara through the bee story and into the hives. Thoroughly enjoyable day and an excellant insight into being a bee keeper.

A very informative course -

I really enjoyed this course as I came away with all the knowledge I needed to have my own chickens. Besides this, the course was very relaxed and fun, perfect to do with the children (and the husband!).

Great informative day out. -

We spent the day with Sara to learn more about introducing a bee hive to the roof of our office. Who knew there was so much to learn about the humble bee. We left inspired and 'buzzing' about our new colony!

Walk-in Chicken Run - Essex,

When the 6 boxes arrived we felt a bit daunted, but everything was there according to the itinery and the instructions were really easy to follow! We also found it easy to attach our Eglu and small run to it and we are now ready to get our Chickens - we also went on a chicken keeping course this weekend through Omlet and we had such fun! Sara in Brentford London was our instructor and she was superb!

Lovely experience -

We had a really enjoyable and informative session at Hen Corner. We came away feeling even more confident and enthusiastic about our decision to get chickens. Thanks Sara and family for opening your house and garden to us and we'll keep you posted!

Toast and marmalade and Christmas pudding courses -

Sara is a fantastic tutor; engaging and informative in perfect measure. These courses are excellent value for money; to learn in a home environment that you can easily replicate, with like minded enthusiasts. And with home made refreshments; endless supplies of wonderful coffee, biscuits and cakes from her own organic produce. And for the day course we were spoilt with a great lunch. Highly recommended and also a great day with friends.

A lot of fun -

I loved the wreath-making course! Sara made it straightforward and fun with loads of space to be creative. Refreshments were yummy and there was plenty of foliage for everyone. Find some friends and book on!
