I love this perch and my girls do too but its starting to crack, it could be from the random/constant weather changes but for now its holding.

Our perches are actually made from naturally weather resistant eucalyptus. Eucalyptus is a very hard and strong wood, as it's a natural material you will find some splitting along the length of the pole, this is not a defect and is part of the wood's characteristics.
I hope this puts to bed some of your concerns!

It's a well made product but my girls don't like it for some reason, they won't go near it at all.

Sturdy
Very sturdy, we stained ours before I assembled it. The instructions and assembly was very straight forward. Remember measure twice cut once!

Chickens love it
I just need to shake the peck toy for my chickens to come running. Makes it easy to get them back into their coop in the evening. It’s a great boredom breaker and keeps them busy until bed time. Fab product.

My gals favourite toy
My gals love this toy, I half fill it most days it keeps them busy for ages, when I go in to visit them during the day to keep them from under my feet I just shake this toy to release the grains and the girls all come running in a frenzy! Lol ????

I am surprised how much our chickens love to sit on this! They usually have a morning and afternoon session, then sometimes fly into the cube from it if they don’t feel like using the steps.
