The cover is half and half clear and green waterproof material. Fits 2m run perfectly. If I had 1 criticism, it could do with another hook in the middle to secure it as it can flap in very windy weather - I use 2 bungee ropes instead.

My apartment balcony is on the 8th floor and has railings, so my plants get devastated by constant high winds. I have been looking for something to act as a wind break but nothing has worked. Thought I’d give this a try despite it being designed for coops. It’s brilliant, very good quality and does the job well. It would be great to have more eyelets to attach it more securely to things, as the high winds do blow it around a lot. I have ad-libbed with some plastic ties.

We have an Eglu Classic attached to a converted greenhouse (no glass!) that works as a chicken run. The run needed some shelter and these were ideal. They're easy to attach using the rubber straps and are sturdy - they keep off sun, wind and rain. They're a little smaller than I thought but having three gives us a range of options for sheltering our chickens. A great product!

Found this makes good refuge from the wind and rain: the hens choose it for shelter. Been in use for 6 weeks in a windy garden . Reasonably robust. Velcro at the back allows use of the wheel raising handles. I recommend this, particularly for windy sites.

We are situated in a very windy area, the brow of a hill, and these covers keep the wind off my girls very well. They will stop the rain getting blown in too. Excellent

The third time I've bought these and the best I've found in terms of durability. Clear, thick,strong, lasted 4 or 5 years outdoors before splitting in extreme winds.

This is brilliant to keep my chickens protected from the weather. They can go in under the cage and be protected

The girls loved this addition to our Eglu-Up - it created a cosy daytime area (with feeder) to stay out of the elements without having to go back upstairs to bed! Easy to attach (we used re-usable cable ties, but now have Omlet bungee hooks) and made it through all the storms and weather in February/March. On the days when the girls can't free range we know they are comfortable regardless of the weather!

We have bought a number of covers for the combined walkin-Mk2 egloo arrangement we have. They are strong and robust, and being clear also give the chickens light, and we can also check on them if they are in the roost or on a perch. They have been a must with all the winter rails
