I have only given this four stars as I think it needs another eyelet for a bungee strap in the middle. I have had to put a large stap from one side over the top to the other as the middle flaps in the Cornish wind. Other than that it is a super quality product as I have plenty of weather here on the North Cornwall Coast and it does the job well.

Having recently upgraded to the "Go - up" version with the extension following the addition of two extra bantam chicks, we needed to keep them dry. As yet, Omlet haven't got a clear plastic cover available so I used the cube one and simply turned it sideways and it fits well and is just the job. Brilliant.

clear cover was just what we needed, we has used heavy duty tarpaflex before but this was much better, not too thick but does the job and keeps the chicks nice and dry.

Keeps my baby's dry in the rain and they love the shade from the sun.

Keeps my ex-colony hens protected from both rain and sun while still allowing plenty of ventilation. You can change its position and turn it round to provide the optimum level of shade as you move the eglu round the garden.

Good quality cover which is easily attached and provides shade and protection when needed.

I had the original green set and, at the time, wished that they were clear as I mainly use them in the winter when the chooks need more light. So I was very pleased to discover these ones. The only drawback (also with the green set) is that they're not quite long enough - there are always gaps on the corners where they don't meet, which is an issue where I live as it can blow a gale sometimes, bringing in rain and snow. OMLET: A complete single wrap-around version would be ideal, otherwise each cover really needs to be customised to fit better.

The first great thing about this cover is that it actually fits the whole length of the 2m run, which none of the other covers did before. This means that I no longer have to mess about piecing together numerous covers to get all-over coverage. The second thing is obviously the built-in shaded side, so again no more mixing and matching covers. What is handy is that there is an extra bungee hole at each end in the middle (where the clear and green sections meet) - for normal use these are not needed, but if you secure these with bungees, it then enables you to fold back the clear section on really hot days for extra ventilation, without the whole cover sliding off. A nice-to-have would be extra bungee holes midway along each side to prevent the sides flapping in the breeze. But I can live with that as it's such a great cover and solves so many problems!
