We live in a spot which is sheltered from the prevailing winds but unfortunately faces north east, so the garden is quite a frost hollow. We also have three sets of nesting red kites in the vicinity so a hiding place for my 6 little ladies is important - even pigeons flying overhead sends then under the cube. The dust bath is also sheltered from the rain under here.

Chucks love it and shelter behind it a lot. Been so valuable thus winter with all the strong winds and rain. Great purchase.

Effective at keeping the run dry. Chickens can still see out and about and react to your presence. Occasionally needs wiped down, but what do you expect when it's exposed to the elements.

I am very pleased with my purchase, the quality is excellant with sturdy eyelets for tying to the fencing easy to put up and so far doing what its meant for, giving protection from the wind and horizontal rain. This is an excellent cover. Strong and effective. I placed mine next to the omelet house instead of at the end of the run and the rabbits like to come out and just sit under it without getting wet. Good value too.

Before I used a tarpaulin over the run to keep it dry. This clear cover is lighter and brighter for my 3 chickens Marmite, Bovril and Oxo.

These are a fiddle to fit. I ended up tying all three together and wrapping it round as it is impossible to clip individual covers onto the wire without leaving gaps. I lifted the back levers high enough to be able to fit the cover snuggly around the three sides in one piece. Worth the effort as it now looks neat and is a cosy refuge for my pampered hens.

I bought this wind break to enclose a corner of my Omlet walk in run using some spare bungee clips from a previous purchase. It has worked brilliantly and has created a lovely sheltered corner which is much appreciated by my girls. Excellent value too as it is a good size and could be used for any run.

Since it has got colder and more windy, the hens spend a lot of time sheltering at the back of the run. They don't always want to go up to the egg cube nest and roosting bars.
