Spring and summer were cool and wet, or cool and overcast, in my area. My hens looked miserable, and seemed unhappy especially following the frequent torrents; they went off the lay too. The cover has been very useful. It has kept the run-area dry without blocking light, and has even warmed my girls on the cooler days. (I keep my Eglu Cube under two fruit trees in summer for the dappled shade.) if the day looks to be hot, I tend to take the cover off which is quick and simple to do. I'll be keeping the cover on during the autumn and winter, and though the cover seems robust, I'm not sure yet how well it will manage in frost. It does appear to be thick enough though.

I was so glad that I got this cover. Considering the awful weather we have had this summer in England, it has heen a god send! Our chickens have been been very grateful of it too!

Seems strong and sturdy and provides a reasonable area of shelter from rain and sun to protect the girls and their food. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than the rather pointless lightweight sunshade that I bought before and which shredded to pieces in about a year.

It keeps the cooks dry and out of the wind, very pleased with the cover. My only critasisium is it could be a bit longer to just cover over the otherside another 8 inches or so and slightly wider I bought two shades and it is 10 inches short of covering the run.

Great product does eggactly what it says on the packet. Keeps the chickens dry from all the summer rain, and also the run area does not become muddy. VERY GOOD.

We purchased this thinking it would be as well thought out as the cube. However when installing it I thought it was odd with 3 covers all the same size. My initial thoughts were correct as once installed there is a gap of around 7 inches. That being said the girls love the shelter but it would have been nice if it fitted properly

I bought these after noticing in windy conditions the chickens seemed quite unhappy. In general I'm very pleased with them and they certainly huddle under the cube in a much more comfortable way than before. My main criticism of the product is that it is very difficult to fit them snugly due to needing to wrap the hooks around the sides to fit. Therefore a couple of the covers have got ripples in them where I've had to move the hooks to lower levels than ideal.

Very good idea to have plastic cover as you can see chicks inside. Gives some protection from rain but would probably be better if bigger to cover the sides

Good shade. Much sturdier than the original and good cover for the chickens where their food and drink is.

We bought this initially to give the chickens some shelter from the torrential rain we kept having! It was easy to fit and was welcome shelter for them both in the rain, and now in the sun!
