having kept chickens for 15 plus years and struggling to keep a wooden coop hygienically clean i am delighted with the ease of use for my Eglu coop. i wish i had bought one a long time ago

I originally ordered for my hens but ended up using it for my 4 khaki Campbells and they seemed to like it.

Since we are moving a 13 foot run/coop, had to have the handles! They work great.

A great addition to any of the range with wheels... makes moving the Cube and Go so much easier, although could do with being a bit longer and more wheelbarrow like for the Go. Wish I'd bought them much sooner.

We bought an Eglu Go-Up a year ago for our chickens and found it easy to construct, move around and keep clean. We also bought the fencing to provide them with more space. Knowing it was not predator-proof we always shut the hens in the Eglu at night, but a predator got at them during the day and killed them all! We have now replaced the chickens and are about to construct a walk-in run to give them more space while keeping them safe. I would echo the comment in a previous review that it is a pity the Go-Up cannot be fitted with an automatic door though- that would be a great bonus!

Everyday the chickens scrap the bedding out of the nest box when trying to lay leaving it completely bare and gets filled with droppings. I have to fill the egg box everyday with bedding, which is not practical at all. Poor design! Love the Eglu Cube that is superb!

The problem is that the upper door cannot easily open wide because it hits the handle. This could be solved by fixing the handles lower down, but we did our best to follow th einadequate instructions.

Bought an original Omlet chicken house many years ago and delighted with that one. Bought the newer style recently but whilst some features are better (the “perch” now being one piece rather than two) I miss the side opening to check if there are eggs. The fixings weren’t that great either, especially the food compartment although everything does close. I guess the price reflects the difference.

I've literally just bought these, having thought about getting them for ages... My advice - don't wait, just buy them - they make moving the run around so much easier. They should come as standard with the housing to save backs! My only criticism is that the wing nut screws could have been a little longer in length to make the task a little easier, but clever DIY hubby managed it.

This is the third type of chicken I've purchased in eleven years, the first two being wooden of different designs from different suppliers, but this Eglu Go is by far the easiest to clean out and our girls are so snug and warm in the pod at night. The 2m run is great for them, although they do free range (when avian flu isn't around!). Customer service was great, delivery was quick. Although I put it together myself, another pair of hands would have been helpful, but still managed. The only downside for me is that the food and water hoppers were way too big for my little hens, so still use their red and white hoppers. Rats can also squeeze through the wire so will probably secure small chicken wire over the entire run at some point for peace of mind. Other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this type of coop. If my girls had thumbs, they'd be sticking them up in the air as I type this!
