chicken run roof cover
the chicken run is absolutely brilliant. i just want to make a suggestion about the roof cover. when you put the cover on i would recomend pulling the bunjee straps through the cage and hooking them up on the inside. reason this is being said is from experience last winter in the high winds of good old english storms, nearly lost the roof cover due to just attaching the bungee straps as they show you, the wind just unhooked them and the thing nearly took off. poking them through from the outside to the inside of the cage and hooking them up inside saved the cover from blowing off and causing damage.

Omlet response:
Thank you so much for your positive review and valuable suggestion! We're thrilled to hear that you find the chicken run brilliant and appreciate your feedback on improving the stability of the roof cover. Your tip about threading the bungee straps through the cage and securing them from the inside is incredibly helpful, especially for those dealing with strong winds. We'll definitely take this into consideration for future instructions to ensure an even better experience for our customers. Thank you for sharing your experience and helping others make the most of their setup!
Great addition
Our Eglu Cube with added 3ft run was just too cramped. It was nearly impossible for me to get in & out because of arthritis in my knees. We got the 6ft x 6ft Walk In Run and now I can change water and fill the feeder with ease. AND our small flock has much more space.

Best run ever
I have never felt such peace of mind knowing my girls are in this run when I’m not there. It’s large enough for them, secure and easy to set up and adapt. I’m not sure who loves it more, me or them… probably me, it’s great

works for ducks
I have the chicken run for my runner ducks. We do not have and Omlet house because the door is not tall enough but the house we have fits in and we have a food and drink feeder. It’s great to be able to walk in to the run for cleaning. On one occasion we made a cover from a tarpaulin and it blew over so we bought a small cover and it works well.

Just Perfect
We live on the side of our mountain in Wales. We have so much wildlife around at all times, so when we looked into rescuing chickens, we had to be certain we could supply them with safety. Our Omlet pen is the best way to make sure our girls are safe and protected, but most of all happy!
Honestly, my oartner us like a kid in a sweet shop when he goes on the Omlet site????
You literally get what you pay when buying anything. The walk through pen is easy to assemble, sturdy and can be extended, which I have to do next! Excellent value for money, peace of mind, highly recommended and 'Just perfect x

Fantastic new chicken castle!
Our chickens love their new enclosure as do we. It is a bit of a fiddle to erect with all the clips but once up it is sturdy and so nice to be able to unlock (easily) and either lean in the top section or walk in. No sooner was it up than we ordered an extension!

Excellent product! Struggles a bit on slopes
Bought this for my girls after a dog came over their old (open top) fencing.
Upsides:
-Instructions are fairly easy to figure out. I wish there was a bit more wording in addition to the pictures, but I got there
-Covered run provides extra security
-Double door lets me drop in treats without the girls escaping
-6' tall model lets my girls stretch their wings. The easter eggers in particular love it.
-The color is pretty unobtrusive, several neighbors were baffled with how we were keeping our girls in such a small space.
Downsides:
-This is definitely not made to work well on uneven ground. I live in WV where the land is absolutely never even, and it made assembly a bit of a nightmare and it still sits very skewed. Makes it a bit of a struggle to close the lower door and several points don't quite meet
-It would be nice to have a latch between the top and bottom of the door so you could pull them both closed or both open at once if needed. It's come up a few times when I'm working in the run, so I'll probably jury rig something at some point
-Some of the parts stick in the bottom of the boxes, so make absolutely sure you have EVERYTHING out of your boxes before you toss them. I've taken to pulling my boxes apart and collapsing them just to be sure

Great product
The walk in run provides a strong, secure area for poultry. It is easy to put together. The one caveat I would add is that it really requires two people to construct which is not, I believe, made clear before ordering.

Sturdy, well camouflaged chicken run.
I bought this run approx 1 month ago and haven't regretted it. Initially ordered 2x2x2 for two large chickens but recently decided to add on another panel for extra room. I love the way it blends in tastefully with the garden. Also like being able to stand inside it. As a newbie chicken owner I bought a substandard, but pretty wooden chicken coop which fits inside the run easily. However, now I have researched a bit more I regret not buying the omlet plastic coop as it seems so much more functional.
The Omlet run was easy to assemble as was the add-on panel . I'm waiting for the sun shades to arrive now as obviously can't leave them in the run in a heat wave without shade so they are free ranging atm during the day. We have lots of foxes that roam around but the design of the 'skirt' that surrounds the run makes me confident that my hens are safe. I also purchased a pack of pegs to reinforce the security of the run which were well worth the money. In sum, expensive but you get what you pay for.

Perfect, great sized and well made
I had to save the remainder of the ducklings from whatever was taking them. The run I had was quite small and mummy duck wasn’t very happy, so I needed to find something bigger. A lot of research later, with the thoughts of cheaper verses quality, I opted for quality and am so pleased that I chose Omlet. The run is well built, easy and quick to construct and is easily adaptable in size. Mummy and babies are very happy in there until they are big enough to free range with the others. Once mummy and babies are released the run will be useful for any hens or ducks that need isolating. In the meantime it will protect my tomatoes from being eaten by the chickens!
