Screw-in Pegs Work On Sandy Soil
I bought this for the chook's relocatable day pen for somewhere to perch and to engage in natural behaviours when accessing treats (balance, coordination). The terrain is very sandy with uneven ground and steep slopes which is difficult to work with but the screw in pegs manage to hold the unit quite firmly. I'm very pleased with the product.

Stable In Sandy Soil
I'm happy with this item. The screw-in plastic pegs hold it firmly in place even on sloping sandy terrain. It has survived very strong gusty winds and rain but I hardly ever need to tighten the pegs. I bought a couple of extra perches for when I get more birds.

They love it
My youngest chickens, 8mo, love the perches, especially when the older bossy hens are around. Some are afraid of the moving weather vane. The food cup is a big hit!

Life of the Roosting Party!
Wilma is the life of the party when she hops up on the Omlet Chicken Perch and shares her bounty! She relishes the treats placed in the treat tray and in her excitement, ends up spilling half of the mealworms on the ground for the other chooks to enjoy. It's a win-win!
