We moved our 6/7 week old chicks into their coop today and they immediately took to the feeder which was scary because they sometimes don’t take to new feeders easily - all we had to do with pick them up and show them there was food in there and used our finger to mimick pecking and wi th in 30 min they figured it out. It’s a great idea because we had rodent issues in our previous coop. And it is also so much easier to keep clean so they can’t kick around their food all the time !! So excited about my purchase

It was easy to put together but feels very sturdy. The hens were a bit unsure initially but soon got to love it. We have had some terrible wind and rain lately but we have left the feeder out and the feed has remained completely dry. Very impressed

This is an excellent product ,its vibrant colours and design actually brighten up my day when I see it Its elevated design keeps the drinkers and water clean ,a problem which we had with the traditional style drinkers

Doesn't work! It's an excellent feeder however, the doors never close after dark.

I love the way the smart feeder closes up for the night and doesn’t allow rodents or other critters to get access to the feed. I wish the feeder filled up a little more because I am having troubles getting my girls to use it!

My chickens and I love this feeder! It is easy to set up and connect to the free app. The chickens had no troubles figuring out how to get their food, and I really appreciate the notification on my phone when their feed gets low. This feeder has drastically reduced food waste. That, and the fact that the doors close automatically at night, make me feel confident that we are not attracting mice to the coop. Great feeder, and definitely worth the money!

Wish we had bought one ages ago. Used to have lots of pellets wasted but with this feeder have not had any dropped. The girls accepted it straight away des9me thinking they would be a bit wary of putting their heads in at first. Only slight issue is that we do get some condensation inside the clear part occasionally but nothing excessive to dampen the feed.

What difference? My new chicken feeder? There’s no mess in the morning. It’s just a quick take the lid off fill it up if it needs filling and it’s kept clean and no wasted. So well done for listening to people and their problems.

I have the larger version of this waterer and love it! When I saw that a smaller version had been released, I knew that I had to scoop it up! I have a barn stall converted for a chick raising or quarantine area and since chickens are creatures of habit, I placed this smaller waterer in there. This way they have consistency of knowing the same structure of the waterer when they go into the main coop. It’s really easy to fill and I like that it comes with both nipple and cup options. I use the cups.

I have mine set on the light sensor setting and you can change the sensitivity too, which I love. My girls all go up early and the feeder just sits there open for a while so I changed the sensitivity so it would close earlier in the evening and so now it closes right after they go up, it's so convenient and I don't have any more mice digging into my run in the evening and eating my feed. I really love it.
