Caption: and this is Marley :) such a cutie don't you think?
Caption: We were sold! and we drove all the way to Luton to collect him :)
Caption: Louise turned into Louis & sadly, he had to "crow" elsewhere! He was happily rehomed with the breeder :)

Caption: Here is Thelma - lady of the manor!
Caption: Audrey...White Pile Leghorn (2007-present)
She is a lovely bird laying huge pure white eggs. Her comb hasnt flopped over like it should but I prefer her like that ^_^
Caption: Eadith...Gingernut (2006-present)
My favourite girl, she used to be a the bottom end of the pecking order but since my other gingernut passed away she is now the queen of the flock.
Caption: Machine...Silver Sussex (2008-present)
Not one of my best hens, I suspect she is a hybrid sussex rather than a purebreed. She is a real feather pecker and between her and my Amberlinks, they consume EVERYTHING!
Caption: Ethel...Partridge Welsummer (2007-present)
A beautiful hen, she lays beautiful dark brown eggs and she has a very calm and kind nature.
I would definately recommend this breed!
Caption: Mrs Owl...Salmon Faverolles (2008-2009)
Mrs Owl was a worn out breeder that I got from a local hatcher. She was a beautiful bird and her personality was very gentle and loving.
If you can find them I would definately recommend Faverolles!

Caption: Gert & Eadith...Gingernuts (2006-present)
My original Omlet chooks ^_^ Gert (the darker one) has since passed away and Eadith no longer lays eggs but she is still queen of the roost.

Audrey and Ethel as pullets, they are beautiful birds. My advice, always buy purebreeds!
