I noticed this being used at a poultry show recently. It seemed to me that if breeders and show-ers thought this useful to keep their birds in tip top condition, particularly when mixing with so many others, that it would be good for my girls. I introduced it when i got my new girls and they seem to enjoy the taste!

Well worth the money - just upgraded from a Glug to Super Glug as the chickens kept walking into the Glug! - now it is clean and I wont waste cider vinegar etc. Chickens took a while to find the nipples for the water but no they have got the hang of it. Hangs above door of Eglu.

My chickens are ever so happy with it and i couldnt be with out it. The water stays cleaner for longer and the amount of water it can hold is great for thirsy chickens on a hot day. A brilliant part of your chickens wellbeing!

this is a great idea, but i can't get my hens to use it. I would prefer them to drink from it and i know that lots of people have them and are happy, I just wish my daft birds would realise that it was there.

This product is a must. Saves using chemicals and is safe and very effective. I have used Diatomaceous earth for many years on cattle, dogs, cats, poultry, dog bedding, carpets, in fact any where where there is an infestation. I also use it for worming and it is very effective. Also good for head lice! This product should be more widely marketed.

What a fabulous product! My girls ate this with gusto within a few moments of putting it out- Easy to measure and straight forawrd to understand the instructions- I will not be fearful of over-dosing or measuring wormer again! Great product for anybody with a few hens or who was wary that the their girls wouldn't get the correct dosage if using a soluble wormer... :)

This is a great book and i go back to it time and tima again, its full of great information as well as pictures and even tips. This is also a great book for children, its easy to understand and with the pictures i found my children enjoyed reading it and became chicken experts over night. Well worth buying, i would recommend it to anyone.

This is a great product if you use it regularly it keeps red mite away. I found it didnt last the 6 weeks as the container stated but did last a couple of weeks It should be used all around the cage in all nooks and crannys, especally around the inside of the door edges and perches spreading enough powder to make it look like a light dusting of snow. I found it easier in tight spots to put the powder on my hands and rub it in the areas (washing hands afterwards). It also smells nice, which is a bonus, it DOESNT taint the eggs either and is organic.

Recently I got fed up with scrubbing my wooden bars and got the plastic ones. I'll never look back. They're great and so easy to clean I don't even need to keep the wooden ones as spares. I plan to turn them into outdoor perches for my hens.

I got this on the recommendation of omleteers on the forum and I'm delighted i did. The girls love it, it seems to make a difference to smell and runniness of their poo as well as saving the grass. I'm impressed at the price since Omlet sell bokashi bran cheaper than anywhere else that i've looked, including ebay and my local composting network!
