Poppy Peck Toy
This product is great and my girls love it! Just wish there was a bantam size
Kay,
I bought this for my four girls for Christmas (yes, my pets get Christmas presents too!) And they love it! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I have bantams and the stick is too large for their small size. I had to unscrew the attachment at the bottom but it wasn't as pointy so doesn't stick in the ground as well.

Eglu Cube & Pro Drinker - Green
Suitable strong drinker
Dennis,
Smokey, our old hen, approached cautiously, pecked it all over, tested it with her right claw and had a drink from each side. It is now officially approved and appreciated by our hens! We bought an additional one to fill with warm water when the first one is frozen and brought in to thaw.

Walk in Chicken Run - 3 x 4 x 2
Great solution for flockdown
Sophie, Berkshire,
We already had an Eglu Cube with a 4m run and some fencing, but with a few more hens than last year and lockdown returning, we couldn't keep them shut in just the Cube run. So we invested in a 3x3 walk-in run. We still have the Omlet fencing in place ready for when the ladies are allowed out again. Construction was relatively straightforward (my husband could do everything except the bottom part alone) and the space is great. I'm very glad we made the investment. The only slight issue was DHL. We were waiting in for an entire 2 days for them and they only finally delivered when they did because I complained to Omlet directly. Omlet were very good in dealing with this.

Eglu Cube Chicken Coop with Run (3m) and Wheels - Purple
Great coop, but expensive
Lexington,
This coop is incredibly easy to clean, and our birds seem to love it. They moved from a slightly larger wooden coop into this coop, and we’ve noticed no reduction in egg production over the last month since the move, so the girls must be happy. I’m ecstatic about how easy it is to clean. We bought an autodoor and it’s awesome for putting the girls to bed at night/not having to get up in the cold and rain to let them out into the run. (Definitely recommend the autodoor). Recently we had a cold snap with -9° F temperatures, accompanied by -30° F windchill temps, and the girls made it out without frostbite or major interventions on our part. We covered the side ventilation points with a tarp, installed a free standing coop heater in the coop, and changed out hot water bottles in the nesting box (for comfort) and we only had 2-3 eggs (out of 12-16 eggs total) freeze. even with the frigid temps outside, the coop temps for the most part remained above freezing. I know our previous coop would not have fared as well. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. I do think the price is a bit extravagant for a small chicken coop, but it’s so easy to move and clean that I’m happy with the purchase overall. I will say also, if you are older or have a bad back or poor mobility, find someone younger to help you assemble it. I’m only in my 30s and it was a job getting everything put together.

What the Cluck? - The Omlet guide to keeping chickens
Delightful and Informative!
Megan,
Me teen daughter adores her book. Although we don’t have chickens now, we to have 7 exotic birds from small to extra-large. My daughter loves adding some chicken skills to her education. I think we will have chickens sooner than later. Cheers from San Diego, US

Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch with 4m Run Package - Leaf Green
Christmas present - time will tell...
Tam,
SUMMARY Great product so far, and time will tell. We have 1 female rabbit and bought the 2m run with hutch, tunnel, wheels and handle. We intend to attach the Omlet run to our existing non-Omlet run. OUR RABBIT REQUIREMENTS We live in Canberra, Australia. I wanted a rabbit hutch where our bunny would be safe and not bored. Safe from predators (snakes, foxes and feral cats) and from escaping (our Angora is a committed Houdini!), but also from mosquitoes and from the 40 degree heat in summer and the below zero temps in winter. I think the 2m run + hutch delivers on the predator and escape artistry side of things. I'm not sure it will deliver on keeping her cool during summer though, we'll definitely not be able to leave her in the hutch overnight - she will over heat for sure. I'm absolutely sure she will need to continue to be brought inside before sunset to protect her from disease carrying mosquitoes - something I had hoped we wouldn't need to do. Perhaps there is an opportunity here for Omlet to design wire/aluminium mosquito netting to install to the runs - I'll leave this idea with your design team. This kind of design spec/accessory would certainly add another star to my rating! ASSEMBLY I would recommend watching the assembly videos first before attempting to assemble your rabbit run. The hutch is fairly straight forward with guidance from the paper manual only. The run is more complex and complicated. For example, I didn't watch the video so when it came to adding the end section I found my sides didn't match the bottom so I couldn't install my triangle sections. This meant I had to fix every single side connection to move the bottom section. This meant it took me 2 whole days to assemble! Very frustrating! Had I watched the assembly video first and then used the manual, things would've been so much easier and quicker. DURABILITY With the Australian climate (heat, sun etc.) it will be interesting to see how long the plastic hutch and run connections last before they succumb to brittleness and break down. Lucky for us, we don't really need to worry about rust, but I would think anyone more coastal would need to consider this. Is the wire run made of galvanised wire? It is coated, but is it galvanised? TUNNEL I've yet to assemble and attach the tunnel to our run and existing rabbit enclosure. I have watched the assembly video first this time and glad I did. I was keen to understand how I attached the tunnel to the run and to my existing non-Omlet enclosure. I couldn't find any information about specific parts to purchase to attach the Omlet tunnel to the non-Omlet enclosure, thinking there would be. On watching the video I now realise I have to cut a square in 1 of the Omlet run panels and in my non-Omlet enclosure panels. While this is not a problem, it is quite frustrating the lengths I had to go to to find this information. Had I known/discovered/researched this when first ordering my Omlet hutch, run and tunnel, I probably would have added an extra 2 run panels to my first order! Now I have to either make do or order them separately and be up for double shipping costs. This is quite annoying. It would be a point of difference for you to clearly outline your products are modular and can be adapted easily to pair with non-Omlet products with simple advice on what is needed to help with the adaptions. I have had to look at various images uploaded by other customers to come up with my own design and figure out what parts and accessories I need - some I'll now have to order from Omlet and some I'll have to buy from my local hardware store - perhaps another opportunity for accessories.

Eglu Cube Chicken Coop with Run (3m) and Wheels - Purple
The Fort Knox of Chicken Coops
Kelly, Ohio,
Ordered my omelet coop and run this past July. Shipping took a while so plan ahead for when your chicks will be ready to move from the brooder to the coop. I allowed plenty of time so the shipping timeframe wasn’t a big issue for me. I grew up on a farm in rural Ohio. We kept chickens my whole childhood and I finally moved to some land as an adult and could go back to raising my own chickens. Honestly there is just no comparison to fresh eggs. Be warned once you have had them going back to store bought is hard! Anyway I moved my 6 Easter Eggers in right at 8 weeks old. It was late summer so didn’t have to be too concerned with cold nights. I couldn’t believe how quickly my chickens took to their new home. Happily running around the secure run and hopping up the ladder for bedtime the very first night! I chose to spend the money on this coop for several reasons. First I have every manner of critter that would love a chicken dinner, great horned owl, hawks, raccoons, coyotes, foxes and the potential for neighborhood dogs to get on my property. Because of this free ranging my birds would not be an option. The omelet is secure and I mean completely secure. A few days ago I look out my window to find the neighbors dog barking at my chickens and clawing at the coop. The dog was working so hard to get at my birds he cut himself. The only thing he accomplished was tearing off my windbreak panel and hurting himself. My birds were perfectly safe! Amazing! The other reasons I chose this coop is the ability to move it around so my birds can have fresh grass. I have the longest run you can get and can easily move the omelet around by myself over bumpy terrain with no issues. Takes longer to move my feeds and stuff out than it does to actually move the coop! Another reason I chose the omelet is easy cleanup. Every part wipes down with coop cleaner, water and a paper towel. Even stubborn children droppings come off. I like to keep a clean coop and it takes me less than 10 minutes to clean out my omelet top to bottom. Finally I chose the omelet to ensure my birds a comfortable. Happy chickens lay the best eggs! The omelet is cool in the summer and keeps the chickens warm in the winter. My birds turned exactly 5 months old this past week, on December 21, the shortest day of the year. We had near blizzard conditions here, blowing snow and -9 without the windchill, which was about -30 degrees. Much to my happy surprise I had my first egg on Christmas Eve! If you’re a chicken keeper you know these are not optimal conditions for your chickens to start laying! My birds are young to start laying for Easter Eggers, we definitely did not have 12 hours of daylight and it was bitter cold! I can only guess that the omelet has kept my chickens healthy, safe and warm to the point they were ready to start laying even in these conditions! Love love love this product and all the accessories! I ordered the auto door about 2 weeks after my chickens moved into the coop. It’s a life changer! Never failed! Well worth the money! Highly recommend!
