My chickens love sleeping in their coop! Every evening, when it gets dusk, they walk up the stairs and wait inside for me to say goodnight ????

I do wish that there were a little more explanation in the instructions. You do not fully extend the poles until after you weave them through the netting because otherwise they will be too long to properly weave through the netting. Since this was not explained verbally in the instructions I had to retract them and reextend them during construction which was a headache as they are not easy to lengthen and shorten. The system works well and I am pleased with the overall construction, would recommend to other chicken owners.

The coop itself is stunning and so is the run post assembly. However, the coop and the run were full of factory defects we had to fix ourselves. The bar in the center was so large, my husband had to bend it to make it work with the coop. Also, one of the first screws while assembling the coop had to be dremeled because it simply did not fit in the hole it was supposed to screw into. We chose to not send the coop back because it was time sensitive that we had the coop ready for our chickens. Regardless I would recommend it to my friends but I just feel disappointed and a little depressed about it.

OK, I'm patting myself on the back for being so smart, but my walk-in coop and attached Eglu and Run are awesome! I bought the 9'X13' Walk-in Coop and the big Eglu, which I attached to the coop with a 6' Run. I wanted lots of room for my hens, but as an older single female, the construction and weight of many of these coops from other companies was just beyond my abilities. I am so happy with my purchase! My hens, all four of which I bought as pullets, learned to use the Eglu after only two nights of me picking them up and stuffing them inside. Now they happily march up the little ladder every evening. I also installed the automatic door, which shuts them up securely when it's good and dark, and opens for them in the morning, even when I want to sleep in. I have four Barred Plymouth Rocks, which are a larger breed, and they love the Eglu. One has matured enough to lay, and she uses the nest box side of the Eglu to lay an egg every morning. I put some straw in there and she got right to work! It's safe! I've watched neighborhood cats and possums march in frustration around the coop at night. And its so easy to clean! I slide the tray out and dump the dried poo into my compost every couple of days, and once a week I remove the roosting bars and the tray and spray them down with a hose. Genius! You have a first-time chicken owner who is a very happy customer!

I must be honest, when I looked at buying these tunnel supports I thought if they would be any good. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They are very well made and fit the tunnels perfectly. The steel used is strong and I had no issue sinking their legs into hard lawn.

It's been a year since we purchased out omlet cube after a very long shipping after many many shipping delays we were very excited to set it up which my husband did in about 4 hours at the time we had 5 3 month old hens they took to the coop right away we were very surprised when they put themselves to sleep on the 1st night since it was the 1st coop they had prior to the coop arriving we were bringing them inside every night to sleep in the brooder it's amazing how they just knew to go in at dark in August the temps were in high 90's to 100 in nj only cooling off to about 80 to 85 at night so we did leave coop door open all night and we had a fan setup right outside the very small omlet run my husband ordered the 6ft run not realizing it would only actually be 3ft since they count the space under the coop as well at 1st we were bummed about the run being so small we were going to order another 6ft of extension luckily it wasn't instock since after a couple of weeks we became frustrated with the run its only couple feet tall so you cant actually get inside I cant even reach the coop door from the outside of the run unless I want to go on my hands and knees and crawl through which I had to do once to get a scared hen from under the coop it wasn't fun at all so we decided we would not be getting and more feet of run space I would of ordered the walk in omlet run but the cost is extremely high so we turned a carport tent from lowes into a walk in run 10 by 20ft and for the carport and all the chicken wire and hardware cloth we only spent less then 300.00 lasted us a year even with over a foot of snow multiple times this winter we now only have 3 hens one got sick vet thinks cancer and another we lost to a fox during free range time. I wanted to get 2 or 3 more but once they fully grew 5 was very tight in the cube winter not so bad they could huddle to keep warm but when it's hot they need space which with 5 they had none I think 2 or 3 is definitely the max in warmer months to give them some room so they aren't right on top of each other I dont have large breed chickens just standard brown chickens when chickens are hit they keep wings open a little and any more then the 3 I have right now they wouldnt be able to do that. In winter huddling together helps keep them warm we did have some days at 2 degrees at night so we purchased a coop heater from tractor supply it looks like a flat screen tv and set it up inside the coop which the chickens loved they all slept right next to it we have a coop camera and we would watch them all try to get the best spot by the heater I let it run during the day as well when it was very very cold so when they would go lay they had little bit of warmth not a lot since the coop door was open just enough to keep the chill off then and keep the eggs from freezing I do a weekly take everything out wash it all off which I do love how easy it is to clean I do wish the nesting area also came out not so much for spring and summer cleaning but for winter water seems to not drain all the way from it after I hose it all down in summer it dries after a hour but in winter I have to use towels also with the attached run you cant clean the front of the coop except for with hose of pressure washer which some times they poop in the area right by the door and I've got no choice but to crawl in and scrub it with a brush to clean the door area and stairs not very fun so now that it's been a year would I purchase again it's a yes if I was to always only have a couple of chickens I probably definitely wouldnt of purchased the run only reason I even still have it attached is so on warmer nights I can leave coop door open since they are safe as long as the run is closed I feel ok leaving it open all night between the omlet run and the enclosure that the coop is in I feel safe knowing nothing will get them at night I do think the price is high especially for the space that it has I'd love to purchase the walk in run and the new chicken pole perch however the cost is extremely high

Took a while to get it set up, but it was massive and perfect for our adventurous - but small rabbit. Looks great in the garden too and love the fact you can shut the door to keep your bunny safe outside.

The Eglu Cube is efficient and easy to maintain. My chickens seem to like it and feel safe. Safe and worry free.

I bought these trays to put in the bottom of a large homemade wire mesh cage for my colony of St. Helena waxbills. The trays are very sturdy but I wish the lip around the edge did not curve down, as it makes cleaning unnecessarily difficult. Can't beat the price though.

I can't say enough positive things about this coop! If you are on the fence, trust me and just buy it! I promise you will not regret it. What we love: 1) it's easy to clean, 2) it's safe and secure, 3) it's keeps one of our hens from sleeping in the nesting box. I'll start with how easy this thing is to clean, which was our biggest problem with our old wooden coop. We were constantly switching out nesting material or trying to clean poo off of wood shelves (which doesn't come clean). This coop is super simply. You simply empty the droppings tray and spray off the roosting bars. Boom, done! We live in the middle of the woods with a ton of predators. We love that we can lock the girls in the coop at night and not have to worry about them. Lastly, the partition door on the inside of the coop. We have one little hen who insists on trying to sleep in the nesting material each night. With our old coop, we would have to go out every night and remove her from the nest box and place her on the roosting bar. That gets old after a few months. lol. This coop is awesome! After we collect the eggs in the morning, we simply close the door. Our girl has no choice but to sleep where she's supposed to. We love it!
