So hard to build, but Chickens are happy!
I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. In fact, If this was already assembled, I’d likely give it 4-5 stars. But…
Although I knew it would need assembly, I wasn’t prepared for how much time it would take to put together the coop and 9 foot run. I lost track, but it probably took 8-12 hours, with a quarter of the time needing two people involved.
Another downside is that it’s hard to move on muddy or uneven ground. There are no handle bars to lift the run, so you have to grab the wire to move the whole thing. It works to do this, but I worry about how long the plastic joints will last if I move it everyday (which was the point of purchasing this.) Not having a way to lift the run in order to move the whole thing, seems like a significant flaw to me.
Aside from those significant issues, the coop itself seems super sturdy and very functional. It will be much easier to clean than my previous coops and I think my hens will be warmer through winter with this design. Also, a plus for me is that it all looks beautiful when it’s put together, which is very pleasing to me. The rain/sun shade works well and held up against 2 days of big rains and 30-40 mile/hr winds this week.
Overall I’m glad I made the purchase, but I’d hesitate to recommend to someone else without making sure they knew the cons.
P.S. I’d highly recommend getting a perch to put in the run. Without the perch, the run felt a little flimsy, but the perch really helped make the design more solid.

Great for added flexibility and space!
This is our second fence purchase. We started with a shorter fence and then decided to get the larger one to increase the area for our chickens to wander. Overall, we love the flexibility in being able to pick up a couple of stakes and move them as needed! It's made our ability to provide new areas way easier, while keeping the chickens contained.
The only note I would make is the door stake that holds the open/close door part - the plastic holder piece very quickly broke because the screws holding the crossed plastic piece went right through. It doesn't prevent us from using it and we still love it a lot, but we have to remember that it is no longer attached if we move the door. I wish there was a bit more of a substantial way to attach that foot.

Love the omlet cube
We’ve had the omlet cube for about a month now with no regrets what so ever! The things we love are-
1. The instructions were easy to follow.
2. It is so much easier to clean out compared to our cheaper bunnings one we previously had.
3. The cube is made from material that will not rot after 18 months.
4. The nesting box can be closed off during the night- this keeps it clean and free from poop. We no longer have to wash poop off our eggs when we collect them- they are beautifully clean:)
The only con is that it took nearly 2 months to receive this after ordering.

Blue Blanket
I bought this blanket at the end of 2021 before the cold weather set in. The inside of the blanket has a warm cosy padded feel with a water repellent outer. Very easy to install even if you haven't purchased the bottom cage part of the cube. The pegs wrap around the cube legs and the draw strings pull either end to make it snug. The egg collection door can be easily accessed. I can feel happy that my hennies are lovely and warm. Brilliant buy.

Great Product but expensive and not built for the Australian climate
Finished building my Eglu Cube with 4m run a few days before Christmas, along with the Omlet Autodoor. My three chickens took to it immediately and no problems with the ladder and roosting. I only needed to keep them locked in the run for 2 days as they learnt quickly where to roost and where to lay the eggs. After spending a few weeks with the product, these are the Pros and Cons as I see them (bearing in mind I live in Northern Australia where it's very hot and very humid in the summer and fairly mild in the winter).
PROS:
*Plastic product, so reduces the risk of large mite infestations
*Easy to clean - takes all of 5 minutes
*Limited ongoing maintenance - wood rots very quickly in wet Australian summers, even if it's been coated
*Fairly easy to put together with the instruction manual and youtube video, just a little tedious
*Can move the coop fairly easily around the garden if necessary. A big positive for me as I can easily wheel into the garage if a cyclone is threatening
*Materials seem fairly sturdy, so should hold up well
*Fairly predator proof. Although foxes aren't really an issue in my area, they are a big issues in other parts of Australia and the skirting should help keep them out. Main predator in my area would be sizeable pythons.
*The Autodoor works a treat and takes a matter of minutes to install. I also got the coop light which comes in handy as it helps the chickens find their roosting spot and settle in for the night as well as checking on the girls at night if needed.
*Girls seem to be very happy with their new coop as they weren't really enjoying roosting in their old wooden coop, preferring to roost on the roof (although I couldn't see any evidence of mites).
CONS:
*Omlet being a UK company, the coop is probably built moreso for UK conditions rather than the summers we experience here in Australia. Omlet claim the coop stays cool in summer, but I imagine it's been tested in a British summer. I have found the coop to be too hot, so have removed the back panel and fitted my own mesh panel with flyscreen attached to allow for much more breeze to blow through and ventilate the coop. It should be enough to keep the snakes out, but if you lived in a fox prone area my quick and dirty mesh panel won't do the job. The chickens are still panting after this alteration, however it's better than it was. I will reinstall the back panel in the winter when temperatures are more comfortable.
*The plastic clips supplied to put the run together won't last a terribly long time in ongoing Australian summers. I suspect they will turn brittle and snap, so would recommend getting some mesh clips to install along with the plastic clips so if the clips snap when trying to move the coop, you won't have the whole run falling apart.
*Omlet claim up to 6 large chicken or 10 bantam chickens. This would be a bit of a stretch for Australian climate as chickens prefer a little more space between them during summer as it's too hot to cuddled up together. I wouldn't be having more than 4 medium to large chickens if you want them to remain somewhat comfortable on a hot summer night.
*Expensive. The coop isn't cheap and is somewhat overpriced despite it being a great product. With the Cube, 4m run and Autodoor it amounted to $2026.15 including a $300+ delivery fee. Is it worth paying all that money? Well, that would be up to the individual. For me, it's probably worth it in the time saved with ongoing maintenance, cleaning and replacement of wooden coops. I would say it's probably a couple of hundred dollars overpriced, though.
All in all I am happy with my purchase, however if you live in a climate with very hot summers, then you may need to make some alterations as despite making my own alterations, the chickens are still panting at night (which is basically unavoidable in Aussie summers regardless).
