Decided to invest in a new coop and went for this plastic one. My old wooden one had started to rot, and was a pain to keep clean and free of red mite. This plastic one is really strong and well made, and so easy to keep clean. The stand makes it easy to access, and the chickens have settled in well and actually lay where they should, instead of all over the garden. very pleased with the product.

I've been using the extreme temperature blanket for a week now & have been very pleased with it. It's very thick and completely water proof. It's easy to unhook and access the nest box on a daily basis. However, upon re-hooking it today after collecting eggs, it went ping! One of the hooks has come off the end of the bungee cord, which is disappointing after just a week's use.

Bought this powder as after many years of keeping poultry, red mites were becoming an all to regular presence in the coops etc. (Once they are in the coop, on the birds in the grass etc it is almost impossible to get rid of them!!! They can blow about on the slightest breeze and even the process of clearing out sawdust/bedding from the coop means you are dropping eggs and mites everywhere). As they breed so quickly, they build an immunity to pesticides quite fast so I used to find changing products/pesticide would work for a time but be ineffective eventually. One thing that DID work for many years was good old creosote. Really thickly applied and left to fully dry but it was banned sometime ago and creosote alternatives just DON'T have the same effect. Then I tried this powder from OMLET and I have to say that so far it has been working very well. Clean out your coop extremely well and incinerate/burn all the stuff you have taken out asap to kill mites and eggs before they can contaminate the grass or blow off in the breeze. Also disinfect the bucket/wheelbarrow/dustpan and brush you used to clean and transfer waste from coop as mites and eggs will cling to these and then be spread about as you go about doing other things. If you can, soak the brush in boiling water!!!!! Take out any removable items from coop such as perches. Mites love to collect in nooks and crannies and perches are a favourite. Hidden but close to the birds at night when they crawl out and feed on their blood. If possible give them a soak with boiling water. After coop is cleaned out give it a liberal dusting of the OMLET powder focusing on corners and joints or anywhere where there may be a gap (no matter how small mites will get in). Replace bedding for fresh. Always use something dust free as chicken lungs are susceptible to respiratory infections and are nothing like mammalian lungs. Scatter some of the powder in the bedding and focus on nest boxes. Powder the ends of the perches. That should be your coop complete. Dust the birds with the powder. Focus on the bottom around the vent (DO NOT PUFF ANY INTO THE VENT), and under the wings into the chickens armpits. Also think of adding to the chickens crumb/mash/pellets as the label says it can help with internal parasites. I feel that this OMLET powder has given me back control of my coops and chickens and I am extremely satisfied with it. Always remember to still check your coops and birds regularly for mites (red or other). Keeping on top of any infestation is the key to good husbandry and happy birds.

Our cat loves this run and we have the comfort knowing that she is safe and secure. The stable door is an excellent feature as it gives easy and safe access. This Cat Run looks great and because of the slim structural elements it is not intrusive in any way. Very pleased indeed with this Cat Run. Assembly seems a bit daunting at first with so many boxes and bits but get yourself organised, take your time and it goes together in a very simple and satisfying way. As it was quite a cool day the plastic clips were a struggle by fingers alone. I found that a pair of large pliers were just right to close the clips properly. I also used some extra cable ties at the corners to stiffen the structure and neaten the joint between the mesh panels. We assembled the run around an existing large bush which we severely trimmed back making a natural climbing frame for our cat. We also used some of the trimmed branches to make rustic platforms one of which we attached with cable ties to the wire mesh panels high up in the corner - see photos. Our cat loves this vantage point!

Excellent product, very secure, easy to get at ( no bending down or going onto ones knees)

My hens took to the rocking/in the ground one first but both are being used and the “toys” seem to occupy their attention. They are easy to clean and fill. Very good purchase in my opinion.

My hens love the space and height that they have to explore in their fab new run. It was easy to build up and is very easy to clean down the floor covering wood chips.

I've had had my cube for a few months now and it's worked out really well - it's virtues are just as advertised. It looks like a little caravan standing in the garden (I would like Omlet to make the awning striped!).

Easy to clean Angora rabbits love running around. I have 2 of the hutches since my rabbits are practicing abstinence. This morning a bear tried to get into the hutch. Damaged but still ok. I also have a chicken cube. I now have an urban farm with Eglu all over it!

The wheels are a fantastic addition to the go up enabling it to be moved round my lawn easy. It is much easier to moved than i expected, i also purchased the handles but its so easy to move i havent fitted them. Even with a 3m run and wind sheilder fitted, its great.
