I recently bought this Omlet Eglu Cube with the 3 meter run with wheels and this is definitely a well thought out chicken coop! My wife and I saw this on display at a local pet expo and thought it would be great way to keep chickens humanely in our backyard. I really love how you can close off the roosting area from the nesting box area, you can close and lock the door to the run when the chickens go to bed at night in the roosting area, and you can easily access the nesting box from outside. The best part is probably the removable poop tray and roosting bars. Based on the looks of it, my chickens tend to poop more when they’re sleeping then when in the run. But thanks to how this coop is configured, when the chickens leave the roosting area for the run in the morning I can easily hose off and clean the poop tray and roosting bars. I have the Eglu Cube coop with the 3m run and although it is rated for 10 hens I have only 7 in my coop and they seem to have plenty of room to run around in the run area. Chickens don’t all lay their eggs at the same time so even if you have more chickens than can all fit in the nesting box at the same time, they’ll figure it out amongst themselves on the time of when to lay. The water and food trays that are included are easily moveable for cleaning and refilling - though the water tray gets constantly dirty due to the large open top design. The coop also comes with two doors (top and bottom) - my only gripe with this coop is the manner in which the doors are attached, which is via plastic clips that I wonder how long they’ll last for, but they can also be easily replaced, and how the doors secure which is via a thin metal rod. It definitely works, but for the price of this coop I’d expect something a little more robust. Also, for the price of the coop, it came with zip ties to secure panels together, which is is just a little disappointing... I’m pretty big (6’5”, 275 lbs) and I am able to crawl into the coop if I need to get my chickens - it isnt super easy or comfortable, but it’s doable. And I’d imagine if you’re smaller than me it’d be a whole lot easier. I am fairly handy and while this was relatively easy to assemble, it did take me longer than the suggested 3 hours to assemble by myself. All in all, this an expensive chicken coop, but it feels like it’ll last a lifetime and it very easy to clean (which was important for me) and this is a mobile/moveable chicken coop (which may be important depending upon your municipal code). I’m super glad I went with this coop and love going out to my coop to watch my chickens everyday.

Several features that I love: - It's plastic so it's easy to clean and it doesn't rot. - Chickens which are known to make a mess with their food actually can't with omlet design! - Food and water bowls are large enough that i don't have to refill very often (esp if you have small birds and let them free range from time to time) - Lots of shade for the birds so they don't overheat in the summer - I loved the egg boxes that omlet gave us. I felt that was the perfect size to gift our neighbors who may occasionally hear some noise from our girls when they get excited :) Overall, great purchase. I wish there were a physical store near me in California so I could visit.

I bought the eglu after my wooden hutch we kept getting red mite, was treating the hutch almost every week plus dusting the girls. Now so much better with the eglu as the tray is easy to slide out and clean so no red mites can attach themselves and fingers crossed we have no red mite so far.

It's a great addition for any garden. The hens love it ! We bought 2 eglu cube feeders so they all have a hole each ! If you have more there is plenty of room to get two heads in each hole at one time !

The chickens love the new feeders ! We got 2 and a stand for them. The chickens have lots of room to eat with the new large holes in the feeder ! Great upgrade on the Omlet Classic Glug & Grub !

WOW, what a product. Our 4 silkies had stopped laying within 4 days of adding this to the broods water they started laying and are eating a lot more and the eggs are more frequent ! The ladies feathers look better in colour too ! It will be a regular purchase.

bought the Eglu up, which the girls really took to. they love the shade of the next box. then added the walk in run, which is really well built and totally secure. it's all surrounded by the chicken fence, which again is a great product. Did find it a little tricky to put together at first, but once we got the hang it went up well.

Unique design & very sturdy... Hens settled in well & mastered the ladder quickly. Very pleased with item but not as pleased with Omlet! After having waited 5 weeks for delivery (which was apparent when purchasing), when it arrived one of the boxes had never been dispatched (immediately apparent & a very obvious mistake on dispatch). This has happened not infrequently to other reviewers. Customer service via phone were fantastic & rectified it very quickly, however I also had dealings via e mail with another employee who was very poor. As Omlet had inadvertently delivered an extra box we had to get it returned. It took 4 attempts for them to organise a collection by the courier. Product really fantastic but customer service disappointing

I have had my eye on an Eglu for awhile as having chickens has been a dream but I was always concerned about predators and being able to handle a coop as a single mom. I have purchased two hamster cubes from Omlet previously and know the quality. I am so happy with the Eglu Cube with run and wheel package. It was easy to put together myself (no kidding!), it looks great in the yard, super easy to clean and (my 12 year old does it without being told after watching me do it once) best of all my new girls love it! We live on central Florida so it’s the rainy season but the girls are nice and dry. I alone can move the coop around the yard. I did have a need to call Omlet customer service before delivery and I received top notch service and no hassle. I ended canceling my order then ordering the larger cube which was delivered within the week. The only suggestion I could make is to add storage to the design. We currently use the nesting box side for treat storage which has been great but will need to use it for nesting in a few months. That’s it no complaints whatsoever! I love the accessories we have the swing, the feeders are awesome and am looking forward to purchasing a roost as well as the automatic door opener.

The product is well designed. Amazing attention to detail - from packaging to assembly. It is rare these days to receive a product of that size when components perfectly align after assembly and nothing is missing! The coop is very durable, made with quality materials, and the premium price is justified. Easy to maintain and clean (the most important feature). The only improvement I would like to see is the ladder leading to the coop. The ladder has spacing between the steps that is inadequate for the young bantam chickens. I ended up adding steps in-between the steps.
