Initially sent without the clips, but a set of clips was sent out promptly when reported.

The material is a lot thicker than the standard shade - well worth the money as it also stops the rain.

So glad I went for this size (6x9) it is so spacious and a delight to sit in with the chooks even on a rainy day. The girls got very spooked when it was being built so after it was finished I took a chair in and had the four of them fall asleep on my lap and on their gang hut (converted kennel), (photos to follow). The Classic is attached on the outside with their original tunnel attached to the other side to give them even more space to range when I am not at home. No more bending and twisting to get the glugs/grubs into the tunnel. Very sturdy and secure and not at all intrusive in my garden. Well done Omlet...keep up the good work.

Really good product, works a treat

I purchased these during the 10% off for 10th Birthday deal as many purchasers had commented how handy it was to have a set of spares. One month on I can agree! A poorly chicken's bottom had made a mess so I was able to put the dirty bars to one side till I had time to power wash them and use the spares. Also used the "small square" when we had to convert a rabbit hutch to a temporary coop to accommodate an injured chicken! Very handy to have.

For the last year, family and friends have donated their shredded paper for the chickens' nesting box. After I read the reviews about Aubiose, I bought a 20kg bag and it is superb. No smell, very easy to use and even easier to dispose of. It will last for months and I am delighted!

We have had our Eglu Go Up for four weeks now and we are very impressed with it. The chicken house itself is so easy to keep clean and the run is so easy to move with the wheels which means that our small lawn can easily be kept clean. The chickens are laying very well and have become friendly and tame. We let them out in the garden while we are at home. Some of our more tender plants have suffered a bit but we can cope with that as we are getting so much enjoyment out of the chickens. They are real characters.

Purchased for our Omlet Eglu run. We have used the Eglu for out tortoises for several years now, and have recently purchased this cover. We have found that the tortoises have been out more under the cover in the (hard to believe I know) hot sun, rather than retreating into their house. Also when it does rain, it keeps there food from being ruined. I have to say it also looks good!

A good and useful extension to give important extra space for 4 hens. Addition of a horizontal bar (maybe a perch) at the junction of the main run with the extension would greatly improve stability - otherwise the sides sag in a bit!

Hi there. I'm so pleased with my Eglu cube, extra run and covers. I came to your offices to collect it as delivery would have been a bit too late for me. Your chaps were brilliant and got everything into my old ford focus with not an inch to spare! It took me about 4 hours to assemble it on my own. The instructions made sense. The clips were missing but that was soon sorted, a quick phone call and they arrived within a day or so. In the meantime I used cable ties so no problems. Dandelion and Bluebell are very happy in their new home. I have them on the grass with daytime access to a lovely area under some trees with plenty of dirt. I have chicken wire to keep them in that area. I removed the clips from one side of the back panel of the run, between the wheel thingies, so it works like a little hinged door which closes tight with your bungee clips at night. They can run in and out between the spaces. I did this because I didn't want to look at the back of the eglu from my kitchen window. I didn't realise you had taller add on runs for the cube and never thought it would be difficult but I had trouble getting into the run through the small door to clean up. I had to find another way so I now use the bungee clips to open and close the whole front of the run, keeping the clips on one side as a hinge. This works brilliantly. I took out one set of roosting racks and put an big old stick in there so they can choose how they roost. The nesting box and roost area is great. I love all the air vents. One improvement could be a grill rather than large hole in the bottom of the nest box as my aubiose bedding fell out. It now has a piece of jcloth over it under the bedding. It's so easy to clean. The trays under the roost are brilliant. And it's great to have all this at a good height. They were a little perplexed by the ladder but soon got the hang of it. If I had to improve on the eglu, it would be the addition of pop holes for the girls to allow access on any side. And add-on lengths of run for those of us who don't have the taller ones, that would be great. I found that the covers didn't keep the run dry. I felt that covering it all up wouldn't allow air to circulate. I use a green tarpaulin right over the top resting on the washing line and prop, and tied to the shed and trees, like a roof sail. I can get this little contraption up in about 3 mins! This allows plenty of air to circulate but the first time the rain poured off and splashed back into the run. I now use the short covers all the way round at the bottom, kind of sloping outwards to allow the rain to run away. And bingo - a dry run. The green is great, very funky. I painted their names and a picture of dandelions and bluebells on the front, gave them some bunting, a bit of tree stump and it's fabulous.
