We have had an Eglu hen house on wheels for ages and with it the run extensions. That set up has worked well but we now need more space for growing things in the garden and so the new walk in run completely fits the bill. It wasn't too hard to attach the new run and we dug a trench all round beforehand and had the whole thing set up quite quickly. We've now added some chicken enrichment to our new run - logs for the girls to perch on - which they really like, and of course they are now totally secure. With the stable type walk in door it's also easy for people to feed them without fear of a hen escape!

The good bits -The hutch itself is the easiest I have ever owned for our rabbits (and we've had a few hutches!!) Cleaning it is a doddle as was putting it together. They don't seem to have chewed it either which is a vast improvement. The bad bits - There is a small gap in the bottom corner which in the summer is fine but I imagine in the winter may prove drafty. I have already purchased the thermal liners. The run however was not so easy to put together. First off the website does not make it clear that the extended 2m run already comes with the anti-tunnel mesh wire. I had orderd this seperately so had to get a refund. Also it comes with NO instrutions to put the 2m run together (and its not as easy as you may think!!). The leaflet only shows you how to put together the 1m run. After a phonecall to Omlet I was directed to look at the Eglu Go for Chickens manual - however trying to put several pieces of wire together whilst juggling an ipad in sunlight with 2 kids & 2 dogs helping was not ideal. My fingers were very sore for a few days after clipping it all together. It's a shame that the 2m run isn't the same as the 1m run that has the anti-tunnel mesh built in. I had to really struggle to place this under the run/hutch and position it correctly and then secure with cable ties so it moves as one peice when I need to change its postion in the garden. I do think it would also be usful to have some sort of side or top access door to allow you to get the rabbits into the hutch at night. At the moment my poor 9 year old has to crawl right into the run to get them in as there is no way I could get through the door. Delivery - We had at first patyed for the hutch to be delivered & set up by Omlet but were informed that this would be a 3-4 weeks wait which wasn't acceptable. when it did arrive via courier a few of the wire panels had broken through the packaging and had been knocked. There are already as few rust pactches on the corners and also where the pin that locks the doors scrapes the loops that hold it closed. For a VERY expensice hutch I'm hoping these don't get any worse and stands the test of time. Despite the above, I wouldn't hesitate to get this hutch again and wish I'd got one earlier instead of messing around with wooden hutches.

Très bonne litière, confortable pour mon lapin, qui retient vraiment bien les odeurs et qui ne fait pas de poussière.

Needed to replace some screws and bolts in our Eglu GO that were lost when last taking it apart. I ordered by phone, which was fast and easy and the Fixing Pack arrived promptly. Reason for not giving 5 stars? Whereas I find the price of the Fixing Pack totally acceptable, the shipping cost of over £3 ix a bit of a bugbear.

This chicken house is superb, exactly what we wanted as we upgraded from a cheaper wooden structure. The Installation instructions were very easy to follow, it took two of us 3 hours to complete. The 5 hens we have settled into their new accommodation instantly and there was no loss of egg production! The layout of the house makes it easy to clean (with the wooden house we had persistent problems with red spider mites). The only downside was the attitude of the Parcel force delivery driver, there was slight superficial damage seemingly due to malhandling. Overall its been an excellent purchase well worth every penny, many thanks!

We have 4 ex batts (and 2 more joining soon) and this is just about the right size fo them. I wouldn't have more that this living there. I collected from the Omlet Warehouse and the staff were really helpful and loaded my car for me. I managed to get it all unloaded and started to assemble it myself but to be honest, it's a 2 person job. Some of the instructions are a bit vague (when adding on the run extension, it's not clear whether the support bar goes inside or out...it's inside and really fiddly to do) Having said that, it was up fairly quickly and we've since added some Omlet fencing to give the hens a bit more space to roam around in. It's so easy to clean, takes me about 20 minutes for a full clean and change of bedding. The only thing the hens just can't get the hang of is the ladder. We've resorted to a gravel board as their access to the house. It's just too far off the ground for them to make the jump. Anyway, thanks Omlet...brilliant stuff and i have to confess a bit addicted to your products now!

These are well designed but they are lined and so super snuggly- great for very cold days. However it is now April and time to put the winter wardrobe away let chickens enjoy being chickens and not wear any clothes...
