This is a really superior product.It has been well tested recently with night time temperatures of -10c. the girls have hopped out every morning and shown their gratitude by continuing to lay!

It was great fun putting the cube together myself and gave appreciation of the thought and quality of the product as a whole. Cleaning is simplicity itself and I predict a jetwash clean, when needed, will give great results in a very short time. I look forward to red mite being a thing of the past. The hens seem to accept the Cube easily and all works well except that the step into the cube (once off the ladder) can give the hens problems in the wet as it gets very slippery. Might be something to modify in future production runs. Everything else is fine - thank you.

I was disappointed to find that the run did not detach easily from the chicken house. This means that the 2 together are heavy and cumbersome to move around the garden and requires 2 people. I intend to move my chickens frequently and it will be a more difficult task than I had envisaged. (It could be that it is actually quite easy to detach the wire run and I have not yet found out how to do it?) Otherwise I think the design is good, and everything that I had expected it to be.

Assembled very well: apart from fitting the wheel assemblies: I managed on my own without any real problems (5 foot and 8 stone so not exactly the strongest!) I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. Although I've had the cube for a couple of weeks I have only just moved the hens into it because of the very cold weather. They have settled in really well and seem quite happy. I would also like to say that Omlet's Customer Service is brilliant.

My poor 14 year old son, whose job it was to crawl into the old pooh infected run and change the water, food and muck out on a daily basis, thinks this is the best thing since sliced bread!

I bought some of these in case I lost some, and for a specialised shade I made myself, and they also work to attach the 'end of run' poles to the side of the Eglu Cube.

Seems expensive at first, but this run extension makes a big difference to the space available and means that Layla & Roxanne can spend the winter in comfort, with a winter shade to keep the rain and snow off and Hemcore underfoot to keep the run mud-free.

Bought these roosting bars at half price, this will make life much easier due to cutting the cleaning time down and allowing me to clean the other pair at a more convenient time!

The eglu cube arrived just before the cold snap and it has been absolutely brilliant! Easy to keep clean and super snug for our hens during the snow and ice. We got the 1m extension run and another cover with it which provides plently of room and shelter. Great product.

Bought as a spare set to enable quick cleaning as you need to spend a little time soaking then scrubbing the bars. Fast delivery service.
