Like - Fox proof - so far( and the reason for buying it), low maintenance, easy to clean, easy to move. Don't like (but minor inconveniences):- Access to food container - a lift up section in roof would make this easier, drink container got dirty so replaced by a gravity feed hanging from the roof of pen, not being able to give hens food and water in house. (putting water in my old house in the winter prevented it freezing) and I have not wanted to shut them in the house because of lack of acess to water My hens do not lay in the house and prefer nest boxes.

The hen house was good but not as good as I thought. It doesn't seem as sturdy as I had hoped for and the ventilation could be a bit better. About 60% happy...don't get me wrong though, I do like it.

First time chicken owner and this product has made it all a breeze. Can't praise it enough and am recommending it to all I come across....coincidentally the chicks are over-the-moon too!

Sturdy and easy maintainence!

Fits perfectly into my small town garden and is so easy to clean! Excellent.

We have had our Green Cube now for 4 weeks and is home to 4 very happy hens - Miss Pepperpot, Gingernut Ranger, Light Sussex and a Speckeled Hen. I have found the house really easy to keep clean - 15 mins a week with a bucket of soapy water is all it takes to keep the house spick and span. We also put newspaper in the droppings trays and replace that a couple of times a week. Really easy to move around the garden too so we can keep the run fresh for the hens when we are out and they are kept in. Anybody thinking about getting chickens and is considering what sort of hen house to get go for a Eglu Cube - In my experience (so far of course) you won't be disappointed. Great product.

Just a couple of things..............The feed container is just about impossible to open and close, plastic too hard to undo the clips. The nesting area would be much easier to access if it was at the rear of the house rather than the front. Otherwise our 3 new babies now 13 weeks old are enjoying it they are crosses of Buff Orpingtons with among them Black Gers cross and cream chickens. Just now waiting for them to be old enough to produce eggs for us!

This is the only part of the cube product which falls down. It took my brother's cats (Bengals) 2 minutes to remove the pins (mind you they are escape artists). The design needs to be rethought - one long pin would be better as the gaps that the pins feed into are quite tight.

Excellent product - easy to clean and use. I had decided before purchase where I was going to place cube - however hadn't allowed for the space needed to pull out of the metal pole which opens and closes the door (more info on web site please). Would definitely recommend you purchase extra run with it if you can afford it otherwise chickens jump off the ladder straight into the green fence. Can be a bit tricky manovering cube to another spot - you need 2 people - one to push and one to guide/hold. Would definitely recommend you have it built by expert Omlet installer - it will save you hours of time and energy -unless of course you are into building kits - omlet provide an excellent service.
