We love it & it is already part of our life - the 'chooks' love their new names!! The cube lives up to all the 'blurb' & is so easy Negitive - could do with handles or something to move it more easily; it is hard for one. There is slight damage where the bottom stick goes into secure the door & I hope this will not cause a problem later on with rust

We have had a few problems with the lid of our cube and can only persume that the moulding was slightly not true. This has meant that the fit is not as good as the rest of the sections. we feel this lets the product down but overall are happy. It is easy and excellent to clean and our chicken are very happy. The moving of it around our garden is effectless and the feeders are brilliantly designed.

An upgrade from the Eglu and the chickens love it. It's also much easier to clean. Now I have to convince Freddy, the rooster, that the nesting box is not his bedroom! I have also purchased the extra run length, which will allow me to leave the chickens in the run all day if necessary. Although they won't be pleased.

This is my 2nd chicken home from omlet. The first, a standard eggloo is being used for bantams, & I am looking forward to the New Year & stocking my new cube

Nicer than the wooden ones - easier to clean and won't fall apart and need re-nailing. However, they could be improved even more by making them solid so crap doesn't get on the inside sections. You could use that black recycled plastic they make non-slip plastic decking out of. Had the Eglu for two years now - it's been the best designed product I've seen for a long time, and I'm almost tempted to try your beehive, but I've already invested in a National hive - maybe I'll try it next year when my colony swarms and expands. Well done for the innovative products and excellent web site and "community" you have created - you've brought chicken keeping to the masses and I think the Eglu deserves a place along side the Smart Car in the design books. I haven't used these - I was quite disappointed in the quality, they are very lightweight, I was expecting solid plastic bars, not what I think looks like a large ice cube tray.

The house is 100% fantastic, so easy to maintain and very secure. My chickens are slowly getting used to using the ladder but it's entertaining to watch anyway! The run is also very secure and really could only be improved by the addition of built in locks for the outer door as the current system is a little fiddly. This would mainly be of value to people who regularly let their chickens out of the run. The 'grub' and 'glug' containers are great and the chicks easily adjusted to the new system. I added 2 'Omlet - Miss Pepperpot' chickens to my collection and found them surprisingly tame and of very good nature. Great to be in the delivery area as the Eglu was assembled by a very knowledgable man in less than 1 hour.
