These are great but if you need a new shade too you can get them both together for slightly less, see the chicken spares section.

I ordered these plastic bars so that I could keep my wooden ones as a spare set.They are excellent and far easier to clean and offer great value.

This is a MUST-HAVE upgrade if you have the old wooden bars. These fit better than the wooden ones and are sure to last possibly forever! So much easier to clean and I'm sure it will mean you could clean them less possibly. The wooden ones I was always unsure if red-mite could eventually appear so they always got a thorough scrub every week, but these have no gaps so are perfect.

I was worried my hens might be a little unsetted by the change to their Eglu, but they accepted the roosting bars and snuggled down for the night quite happily. So much more hygenic, really good edition to my Eglu!

What can I say? These new durable bars are the perfect thing, easy to clean, nothing *undesirable* can get stuck to them. A good blast of the water hose and they are done. As much as the wooden ones are lovely, lets be honest here. I`m looking for ease of cleaning, I dont want nasty bugs in with my little darlings, and I`m not sure that mites can find a home on plastic can they? Spray clean in an instant! From Eglu to roosting bars! ( Of course Omlet could introduce coloured bars or even sparkly ones ..now theres an idea! )

These plastic roosting bars take literally seconds to clean with soapy water - much much much easier than the original timber ones.No scrubbing, no scraping dried droppings off. If you're gonna get anything for your Eglu this year-make sure its a set of these.

100% better than the wooden ones which have split on us just 4 weeks after having our Eglu. The plastic ones are brilliant. Easy to clean, hardwearing, durable.... This is one of the best additions to the Eglu. I would highly recommend you get a set of these plastic ones - you won't need your wooden set any more.

This is the best chicken feeder I have ever seen, it's fantastic design means no more wastedge of water, keeps it clean, and also easy to clean.

Great for the chickens as it helps to keep there water clean fantastic I have put it above the eglu door for the chickens to reach up to its a definate winner!
