I am most impressed with my cube. My hens took to it straight away. Because I needed to put it behind my shed I found that the fox proof guard at the sides would have been better hinged like the front and back. The door could be a bit bigger, I find it hard to get in to clean the ladder etc. A perch of some kind would be nice for the chickens to sit on which I have had to buy it lifts them off the grass and gives them a break from each other.

I'm very happy with my cube, a very simple and attractive design with good construction drawings, but found some of the tolerances of the molded panels to be tight and need a lot of force to be able to line up for the installation of fixings and the roof panel does not fit as well as I would have liked with larger gaps at the front than the rear, I think most woman and some men would struggle to construct the cube this is why have have given it a 4 star rating.

The ladder needs smaller washers to attach. The big ones provided here extend beyond. Doesn't look like belong.

Did exactly what I needed them to do. Good replacements for lost ones.

Disappointed so far as none of my chickens will use it. Anyone have any tips?

We just bought a second hand eglu and this was missing so I bought one whilst dad said jut use a bolt but that was too much hassle and this is soo much easier. I might just buy another as a spare.. It arrived asap too! FAB!

Good quality product with plenty of space for food- looks good and is practical.

Yes, it holds a lot of water, but my hens don't appear to have the nack of drinking from the teets. Can any other owner tell me how high to position it? Should the hens be able to easily fit underneath or should they have to stretch their necks to reach it?

Well worth the money - just upgraded from a Glug to Super Glug as the chickens kept walking into the Glug! - now it is clean and I wont waste cider vinegar etc. Chickens took a while to find the nipples for the water but no they have got the hang of it. Hangs above door of Eglu.

My chickens are ever so happy with it and i couldnt be with out it. The water stays cleaner for longer and the amount of water it can hold is great for thirsy chickens on a hot day. A brilliant part of your chickens wellbeing!
