We know that chickens don't see well in the dark. At dusk, my girls would get stuck at the door because the first one couldn't or wouldn't go further into the coop. Then most of them would be locked out when the door closed. Usually, the light keeps things moving, because they can see where they are going. I no longer come home to find half of them hiding somewhere in the yard,

The mesh attachment kit made install easy. Our chicken coop is an old upcycled aviary with rectangular mesh.

I owned another auto-door that worked just ok for my chickens but wanted something more robust and that I could depend on for my ducks. I purchased my first Omlet door 6 months ago. This door does not disappoint! It is heavy duty and opens/closes when it is supposed to. I have my door set to the timer and it works great! I love it so much I purchased a second door for my chickens. I have peace of mind knowing the door will function as promised. I highly recommend, it's worth every penny.

my new autodoor is fixed onto my walkin run i can now control when the chicks leave the run without having to be on site, or suffer the rain early in the morning. it's set to manual which gives great flexibility

Fitted a Smart model to our Omlet Cube MK1. This is running well WiFi reception is surprisingly at bottom of garden. A couple of nice to haves on door would be light sensitive shutting but timed opening, or even a clever link to sun rise and sun set data via app 😁Fitting to the MK1 was an easy task but would be handy if Omlet had a video of how to install to a MK1 . The cabling was very neat, running it to mesh and then inside front roof gutter so protected and roof can be easily slide onto mesh for cleaning. A placed a small piece of cable tidy over the cable by the door for protection from any inquisitive pecky chickens.

I love the automatic door. I don’t have to worry about going on vacation, waking up in the morning or closing in hens at night. It’s a dream come true. And I LOVE that I can control the door from an app on my phone! So easy, simple and efficient.

So far I am very pleased. I purchased my auto door for my Carolina coop and we installed it on the hardware cloth. Super easy to install.

Love the autodoor, especially with the app connectivity. This way I don't have to drag myself out of bed early in the morning to let the girls out of the coop, they can wander out when the sun comes up and get themselves some breakfast from their autofeeder. Also great for the evening if I'm late back from work, I know that they are tucked away safe as the door shuts itself when they put themselves to bed!
