This thing is awesome makes taking care of our hens soo easy! The biggest issues I’ve noticed with this is that if a hen is in the way of the door that is trying to open, it will close with them all in still. I occasionally have to go out and manually open to door because of this. You have to clean the poop off of the tracks sometimes because this door opens horizontally rather than vertical. If we park the tractor too close to our safety light outside the door closes before the chickens realize it’s nighttime. These are not problems that are too big or annoying for the extreme benefits we get 98% of the time with this.

After some thought on how to fix the auto door to the Cube Mk1 I spent some time wondering how especially the top fixing as the picture instructions didn't really help, got there in the end and really pleased with the whole kit. Working well so decided to add the coop light which was really easy just plug and play.

I bought The Omelette door opener for capability of the Wi-Fi due to my health I have not installed it yet but once the humidity any heat cool down I'll get her installed and let you know how she really works.

The light works well and comes on to guide my girls to bed. It often takes around half an hour for them to all get in the house, so having a longer on time would be beneficial.

We have recently purchased the coop door having become rather fed up with a different product. My neighbour installed it, on our wooden coop, but it seems to have been straight forward and the instruction book, comprehensive. Relatively easy to programme. Waiting to install a second one on another coop

The Omlet Auto Door is a great addition to my coop! I love the smart features and the ability to know for sure that my door is closed at the end of the night. The quality of the materials used to make the door feel heavy-duty! I also really enjoy the light that goes on 5 minutes before the door closes.

This door is very easy to install, and is working well for my flock! I needed this door to replace a wooden slider door that finally rotted away, on a home-built chicken tractor. To install the door I needed to reduce the size of my original door opening to match the dimensions needed for mounting the auto door, and the modification to my existing opening was the longest part of my installation process. The Auto Door is made of high-quality plastic and I am not concerned about any local predators being able to break in. The coop light gives off a good amount of light if I need to look in on the flock, and it is not so bright that it bothers the resting flock when I turn the light on. I also appreciate the flexibility of using batteries to control this door, since it is on a tractor, I don't need to run an extension cord or other power supply across the yard to be able to let the flock out for daily free-ranging time. The app is easy to use and I love that I get a notification when the door is opened and then again when closed each day. My only concern running on batteries is if I need to close the door immediately in an emergency. When using batteries the unit checks in for commands once every 10 minutes to conserve battery life. I appreciate this extending the life of the batteries; however, I feel there needs to be an emergency close option that would send a signal to wake the device and to shut the door immediately in case of a sudden predator attack, weather change, or another poultry emergency that requires the flock is secure within moments, not minutes. If the unit is plugged into a power source, it closes immediately, so this concern only pertains to running the unit on battery power. I am very happy with this smart auto door and could see myself getting another for my next flock expansion and coop build.

Got the door quickly and it was easy to install and seems to operate well. My only complaint so far has been the door size. I have turkeys and some fat ducks along with my chickens living together. Door size is tight for the turkey and larger ducks.

Good all round product but would be handy to be able to set the time in the morning (prefer them to come out at 7am in summer) and dusk setting in the evening. At the moment can't mix and match.
